Live from the Korakuen Hall this card is being broadcast on Japanese TV and features one of the most exciting prospects in the world!

Only 6 bouts being held here but could, potentially, have the fight of the weekend!

    First bout Junpei Tsujimoto (0-1) v Kazuhiro Baba (4-4-1 3) 4 rounds at 147lbs

    1-
Tsujimoto starting out fast with a lot of jabs and circling, Baba trying to soak them up on the guard, Tsujimoto continue to be the one unloading and gets through with some hooks and the occasional cross. Baba trying to get back into this in the final 90 seconds Baba getting some success but very clear round for Tsujimoto who impressed at times
    10-9 JT

    2-
Baba looking for big shots, seems to know he's going to be out boxed at range and will need a KO to win Tsujimoto still the busier and the better boxer but Baba trying to just walk through him. Better from Baba but another Tsujimoto round. 20-18

    Round 3-
Tsujimoto's pace has slowed and he's now looking for power shots, Baba digging in hard singles, Baba's head just snapped back, looks like Tsujimoto is wilting and a heard left hand lands from Baba, sweeping right then a left from Baba.
    Baba's round 29-28 Tsujimoto

    Round 4- (final round)
Baba is on the hunt and chasing down Tsujimoto, landing some big shots early, Tsujimoto siring back now, Baba ships another, now trying to turn this around Baba steams forward, final minute and it looks like Tsujimoto has done enough unless Baba drops him, wrestling now as both show their tiredness, Tsujimoto looking for an eye catching finisj.
Tsujimoto gets it on my card 39-37

    Fight 2-Ryota Toyoshima (3-1-1, 2) v Yusaku Minami (1-1, 1)
Another 4 round Welterweight bout, from what I understand this and the previous one were Rookie of the Year qualifying bouts

1-Toyoshima has my attention straight away, something makes me think this kid can fight as he slips a few, shows nice head movement and looks good on his toes...he has the best of it early and appears to be finding holes , Minami struggling to do much of note.
    10-9 Toyoshima

    Round 2-
Faster start by both and again it's Toyoshima who is find the holes and landing the far better blows, Minami is busier with the jab but the better shots are all from Toyoshima, Toyoshima is looking for an uppercut but misses-not for the first time-Minami can't counter though, Toyoshima hurts Minami just before the bell but a follow up is ended when the bell saves Minami.

If Toyoshima has an extra gear or two he could go pretty far
    20-18 Toyoshima

Also hi PP nice to know I'm not alone!

Who you going with? The experienced champion or the tearaway youngster?
