Higa starting fast and appears to rock Diale inside the opening minute with a right hand, Diale trying to stay composed and Higa doesn't charge in recklessly, nice body shot by Higa, good pressure from Higa, Diale looking for openings but not getting many good ones, big finish from Higa. 10-9 Higa.

 

Round 2-
Higa applying pressure from the off with Diale looking to counter again, Higa showing some intelligence here and not just wading in with bombs, good body shot from Diale, and another, a left from Higa, Diale backs off and Huga comes in and has the crowd in cheers, Diale holding, Higa continuing to apply intelligent pressure and lands a cracking body shot, Diale responds, Diale rocked! Hige looking for the kill! Higa man handling Diale and just unloading, Diale in trouble! Another hard body shot from Higa and Diale is down on all 4...It's over...or is it? Confusion....No he must have beat the count...VERY lucky! 10-8

Round 3-HUGE right from Higa, Diale looks to have recovered in the minutes rest, Higa with another body shot, Diale in trouble again, Higa with the pressure but Diale turns him, Diale with a nice uppercutt but he can't keep Higa off and Higa comes in again a huge right up top again has Diale in trouble, Diale with a body shot of his own, Diale tagged by another right and down again! Diale is taking an asswhooping! More than a minute of the round left and Higa storms to Diale, Diale holds, Higa smells a finish, another body shot from Higa, Diale covering up on the ropes, Higa with a body shot, Diale trying to survive a nasty assault from Higa, Diale on wobbly legs but sees out the round. Another 10-8

Round 4-Huge body shot from Higa, Diale tries to fight back, Higa in his face again, Higa has Diale on the ropes again, Diale now fighting back with a bit more success, Higa targeting the body as they end up in center ring, Diale showing genuine bravery and fighting back the best he can, Higa lands a sweeping left up top, Diale back peddling looking for some space but down again! Doesn't veart the count this time!

Diale fought Higa's stable mate Koki Eto in a 2014 FOTY candidate, losing in 8 after having been well up in the bout (a year earlier Eto he beaten Porpramook in another FOTY candidate). Higa fought Kongfah last year in a FOTY candidate.

Tbh I had mega high hopes about today's bout but Higa just steam rolled Diale.
