1-Yamato, a southpaw, looks the more skilled and much faster man but is respectful of Hashimoto's power, Hashimoto took a big body shot and only narrowly avoided a follow up, a sharp right hook from Yamato seemed to shake Hashimoto, Hashimoto having some success with his long jab late in the round - get the feeling Yamato will counter oen of those. 10-9 Yamato

Not seen much of him, but he's debuting on a huge show, will presumably have his bout televised on G+ (along with Viloria, Iwasa and Ogawa Vs Sugita II). Heard great things about him though.

2-Yamato staying at range and not rushing but he is now applying pressure, a good right hook from Yamato connects, Hashimoto still trying to box behidn his jab, Yamato seems to be building in confidence is looking for a home run shot-just missing with them though. Yamato loading up a bit too much with his left hand - his team probably needs to offer a lil advice. 20-18 Yamato

Yea he's got lots of potential. It will be good to see Viloria back in action.

3-Yamato continues to cautiously press the action, then look for a big left hand, a head shot from the Teiken man sends Hashimoto down but he's up. Yamato looking for a finish with a bit more fire now, Hashimoto struggling but firing back, nice fight back up close from Hashimoto late on. 30-26 Yamato

4-Hashimoto looking for bombs - the jab and move tactic is now looking like it's off and a bomb from Hahsimoto conencts! Yamato down! Up but that was a solid KD from Hashimoto, he's looking for him and Yamato is still hurt! Hashimoto still on the front foot and trying to make the most of his chance...and the towel comes in from Yamato's team :O
    UPSET!

HUGE left hook sent Yamato down and from there the Teiken man never recovered!

    Next Masaru Sueyoshi (13-1, 8) v Allan Vallespin (9-0, 8) - 10 round Super Featherweight

Sueyoshi is a Teiken fighter with a #5 Japanese ranking, Vallespin is a 22 year old Filipino puncher making his international debut!

Seen a few in Japan say Vallespin is very dangerous and a strong fighter...could be very interesting if they are right

1-Vallespin off to a hot start and Sueyoshi under pressure from the off, the one time I've Sueyoshi he was a slow starter Vs Sanpei. Sueyoshi trying to get the jab going now and it seems like he's seen off the first wave of Vallespin's attack...nope Vallespin back on the offensive and JUST misses with a huge right hand, Sueyoshi is going to need a chin here! Vallespin round. He's a dangerman here. 10-9

2-Vallespin keeping the pressure on and Sueyoshi looking to fight off his jab and then get away, Sueyoshi is fortunate that Vallespin is a LITTLE on the slower side, big body shot from the Filipino and a sweeping head shot, only really jab-jab-jab from Sueyoshi, a solid right from Vallespin, Sueyoshi with a good body shot 2-0 Vallespin (close though as Sueyoshi is having bursts of success and avoiding plenty of the heavy artillery)

    Daigo Higa (11-0, 11) v Diomel Diocos (10-1-3) - 10 rounds at 115lbs

Higa is saying this bout will be a world title prelude, he will be ringside for Nawaphon Vs Hernandez in March. Diocos looks for one of the biggest upsets so far this year.

I'm not watching. I don't know most/all of these guys. But appreciate you doing this, BP. Legitimizing and proving there is still some value in boxing forums after all!
