4-Very hard to care about this, Kaito is frustrating, Toyoshima still unsure of himself, and the knockdown earlier on appears to have made him even more cautious...a frustrating bout

5-Toyoshima seemingly been told to up the Ante, he takes it to Kaito and makes a good early impression, Kaito trying to fight back but eats a solid right hand,

6-Toyoshima again applying the pressure (he has some weird footwork and has piroetted a few times through the fight), Kaito on the move, good counter left by Kaito, Toyoshima continues to force the pace (where was this earlier?).

1-Good round, the Thai hans't come to make up the numbers, but Nagano looks comfortable and is fighting well within himself, getting a read of the visitor.

2-Thai is forcing Nagano backwards, but not having much success, Nagano picks him off with some straight right hands, a huge right from Nagano, and another, Thai is taking them well and pires back, Nagano on the run.

3-Nagano holding his feet, and tagging the Thai with solid shots, the Thai is firing back but having limited success, good rigth from Nagano, this Thai is here to win and continues firing back, good body shots from the visitor, the Tha is starting to time his counters a bit more intelligently and jab on the back foot, HUGE right from Takano ROCKS the Thai, he hunts a finish but the Thai fires back and recovers, he's rocked again and the referee steps in as Nagano unloads...potentially an early stoppage...looking at the Thai but a nice little fight that one!

    Ryo Matsubara (7-1, 7) Vs Kai Chiba (6-0, 5)

1-Chiba looks to apply the pressure but Matsubara lands a hard counter, Chiba holds and clears his head, they break away and we have bombs being unloaded, Chiba looks the tidier fighter with Matsubara missing more often but Matsubara's power has Chiba being the more cautious man. BOMBS shake Chiba! Chiba trying to work on the inside, trading away! This is worth the price of admission, neither man using much of a jab it's almost all hooks, uppercutts and straights!

2-Chiba showing a bit of a consistent jab to begin the round, big right hand behind it, Matsubara swinging for the fence, Chiba gets inside and is now starting to win that battle before being back to his jab, Matsubara gets the pressure on and lands, Chiba fires back and seemed to hurt Matsubara there! This is tense and brilliant, Chiba back behind his jab, Matsubara has almost no answer to the jab, 1-1-2 from Chiba, Matsubara is falling apart here. It was only a 10-9 to Chiba, but it was a BIG 10-9 in terms of the fight

3-Matsubara has stepped up his pace now and is making it harder for Chiba but Chiba's jab still continues to be a difference maker between the two, big hook from Chiba, huge body shot from Chiba, who is clearly winning the fight now

4-The action is being contest in short but thrilling back and forth bursts, Matsubara starting to use his jab now, Chiba's is still much better though, body shot followed by a headshot from Chiba, anotjer big headshot from Chiba, and back to the body, a big right from Chiba, not much coming back right now, a couple of rights from Chiba, Matsubara throws himself off balance with a wild miss, 1-2 from Chiba and the referee seemed to begin having a close look at Matsubara

5-Chiba to the body, Matsubara backing up, Chiba continues to use his jab whilst controlling the bout, body shot from Matsubara and another but they have no effect, HUGE trading sequence and the fight feels like it's building towards something huge, Matsubara really is giving it everything he has, Chiba takes it and now on the hunt, a Teiken corner man runs in and saves their man... not sure if the towel came in, if a JBC rep mae a boo boo or if it was just a "crap gotta get in" type of thing, but he looks fine.

HUGE win for Chiba...and a bad day for Teiken who have now had two Japanese ranked fighters lose!
