4-Thai staggered with a right, he's running on the retreat, trying to clear his head, now swinging back, Funayama on top but the occasional right counter lands, Funayama backs off, now on the front foot again, Thai in the corner and lands a huge right, now rocked again, Thai looks about spent, rocked again and turns his back TKO4 Funayama

    That round was ....genuinely great!

1-Saka on the offensive, and he's not letting Sueyoshi dictate the distance, body shot from Saka, hard right from Saka,Sueyoshi looks very uncomfortable, a hook from Sueyoshi but Saka walks through it, Sueyoshi backing up a lot under pressure. Very clear Saka round!

2-Saka on the front foot again, typically that would play into Sueyoshi's hands but Saka is showing enough head movement to avoid the shots from the champion, getting close and roughing him up, jabs from Saka, Sueyoshi looks really worried by the power of and pressure of Saka and Saka smiles at him, left-right from Saka, Sueyoshi in all sorts of trouble at the end of the round

3-More pressure, pressure, pressure form Saka who's jab is is getting through time and time again, Saka going to the body, Sueyoshi wobbled, then pushed over, he has no answer at all to Saka's pressure, body shot from Saka, a straight snaps Sueyoshi's head back, and jab whips the champion, a short hook from Saka,

    JESUS this is one sided!

4-The onslaught continues, Binny Martin seems like he's having a closer look but not close to stepping yet, Saka has slowed a touch but still the boss and Sueyoshi struggling to get much going, 2 good rights from Sueyoshi, Sueyoshi backed on to the ropes. Sueyoshi building a little here, but cut and swollen around the left eye

Best round for Sueyoshi so far....but 4-0

5-BOMB! Saka rocks Sueyoshi about 1.5 seconds into the round, Sueyoshi surviving, but on the run, ****ing hate his style, a right from Sueyoshi, Sueyoshi showing some spirit late in the round but it's his pitty patty jab stuff, a couple of rights late on

Legit the best Sueyoshi fight I've ever seen,

    Open scoring
    49-46 and 50-45×2

6-Pressure continues, and Sueyoshi in all sorts of trouble, he's staggering, hands down, and finally he drops...Martin waves it off...WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!

What a weird as **** year this was for Saka, stopped by Noynay, picks up an easy win then beats the **** out of Sueysohi!

Up now Joe Noynay (18-2-1, 7) v Kenichi Ogawa (24-1, 18) - WBO AP Super Featherweight title fight

Noynay has loved Japan this year, stopping Saka and Satoshi Shimizu

I picked Ogawa, but after Saka's performance I think I was wrong.

1-Ogawa looks the quicker guy, and lands a couple of nice body shots, Noynay seems to be the one coming forward, the lefty-righty dynamic is causing issues with the two clashing heads and standing on each others feet, Noynay's jab getting into play, a left followed by a hook from Noynay, Ogawa backing off, body shot from Noynay, an attempted DDT from Noynay who gets dumped on his own ass. Noynay, close

2-Ogawa comes in and gets caught by a hook, fans reacting to everything Ogawa does, another hook by Noynay, a big hook form Ogawa - Noynay eats it clean, a right from Ogawa, another Ogawa hook, a short right by Ogawa, a big clash of heads and Noynay is cut - left eye - taken to the doctors, this looks quite nasty TBH, fight goes on, more issues with the lefty-righty dynamic, a nice left from Noynay, a shot left from Noynay. Ogawa, close (but not as close as the opening round)
