3-Kimura creating space, working his jab, letting Iwaya come to him, short left, Iwaya lands a jab! Iwaya goes on to hit the invisible man with both hands, and then tried to headbutt the invisible goat, Kimura shows his nasty side by shoving a palm in Iwaya's face before going through the gears with a vicious change in pace, another uppercut from Kimura

 

4-****ing hell Iwaya keeps coming out...Kimura touching him , looking for a counter, nice jabs from Kimura, lovely right uppercut, Iwaya is finally showing cracks in his toughness another body shot, and another, and another, and one more, and again, Kimura's not even looking up top, Iwaya slapping with some shots of his own, a huge uppercut from Kimura and it glances the target, a gorgeous uppercut up top from Kimura, Kimura waves in Iwaya and tries to land an uppercut.

5-No idea how Iwaya is still there TBH, tough mutha ****er! Kimura using Iwaya for target practice, a vicious right to the body, an uppercut up top. He turns on the jets again and Iwaya covers up...until his team throw in the towel.

One thing I've not mentioned much is the defense of Kimura, he's looking slippery, with both his upper body and foot work, absolutely sensational and that was a particular focus this round.

**** it, give him a top 10 Japanese ranked guy next, then a domestic title fight. Kid's too good to waste his time here

 

Main event Tsubasa Murachi (4-1, 3) Vs Ryotaro Kawabata (12-3-2, 6) ...and then bed

1-Nice pace set early, a good right from Murachi lands up top, and another, and a lovely 3 punch burst from Murachi...he seemed to hurt Kawabata, a left hook from Murachi, big right from Muracho, and a solid 1-2 from him, and a stiff jab, Kawabata is target practice for Murachi here, 1-1-2 from Murachi, not much coming back

 

2-Murachi still setting a high pace but he has cooled it off a little bit, still finding a home for his right hand, a nice body shot from Murachi, pace has certainly dropped but still pretty 1-sided round

 

3-Nice sharp offensive work from Murachi, Kawabata giving it a go and lands a couple up top but not enough, nicer counter hook from Murachi, very nice jab from Murachi, and a hard right, dominance from Murachi

 

4-More of the same from Murachi who is totally in control, every time Kawabata has any success he gets tagged by a right hand and it takes his momentum away. Very much a show case for Murachi now

 

5-Think Murachi is hunting a stoppage but lacks the power, Kawabata has taken the best he's got to offer and he's still there and stillm arching forward, pace has dropped a bit, but every so often Murachi lands a huge right

 

6-Murachi pressing more this round and hammers Kawabata witha series of hard rights, he's hunting a stoppage again, and Kawabata survives the round....

 

7-Sustained pressure from Murachi early in the round, Kawabata starts fighting back and pressing Murachi, Kawabata is punished for his ambition and he eats a series of jabs, Kawabata's face is a swollen mess

 

8-Kawabata coming forward, but he's taking some big head shots in return, Kawabata legitimately making a go of this despite being waaaay down, big rights from Murachi but he can't dissuade Kawabata, but it's too little too late from him
