Round 5 The pace is significantly slower now. Johnson no longer landing as many jabs. Mack turning side to side, coming in with his waist twisted behind his outturned elbow. He is able to avoid damage from the predictably straight-punching Johnson and wing shots from this stance. Another Mack round, closer than the 4th but still did enough. 48-47 Johnson
48 - 47 to mack, johnson dont look like he is gonna stop and mack is not fighting at his comfortable pace
Yep. I think Atlas hit the nail on the head. He's there but he's not there. He's waiting a lot and slower. Scores a knockdown though...still think he's got this in the bag
Round 6 Johnson lands 5 of 6 consecutive unanswered jabs to soften Mack up with his back to the corner, and then drops a bomb of a right hand! Down goes Mack! Mack beats the count without trouble. He finds sanctuary on the ropes and shells up, not eager to enter into any more exchanges just yet. Johnson initially jumped on him and had several shots blocked. Now he just stares at Mack, almost puzzled. He's not dealing well with the rope-a-dope. As I say that, he scores another knockdown as Mack drops his hands momentarily. And a third with more of a smacking blow with the side of his glove as they come together after the referee signals to resume action; Mack's knee grazes the canvas and the ref waves it off.
espn kickin ass in 2010 so far. Johnson is the man, credit to Mack for coming to fight and goin to him til the end. Great. so wait dude was right that posted earlier we are watchin on delay?
