Johnson amazes me more than Hopkins in a way, given his style. How he pulls this off at 41 years old I'll never know.

Good win for him. Cloud/Johnson will be a great fight.

 

Prior to the final round I had Mack up...good fight but Glenn is near the end of the road

I'm glad he got a solid win at 41, but it's just too bad this gets him back in contention. That's entirely pointless. Any young championship-caliber fighter vs. Johnson at this stage is pointless.

I saw Johnson is less willing to let his hands go on the inside and Mack surprised me because he's greatly improved from the last time I saw him fight. But he's just not that durable and he kept reverting as far as his defense. He would be good and improved and then just get unfocused and let Johnson-a real pro- see spots to crack him. I feel good and bad for Johnson. Good because he won and bad because I think he could get really hurt against Cloud.

 

I fear for Johnson if this is the current level he's competing at.

Edit: Against Cloud if that's truly the direction he's going.

Cloud-Johnson will look alot like Dawson-Johnson, with the exception that this time Glen could get badly hurt.

 

Cloud really isn't much better than Mack. Probably another easy stoppage for Johnson. The light-heavyweight division is truly awful right now.

 

Cloud and Mack are pretty far apart. Cloud has better power, better cardio and youth in his favor.

Johnson isn't a hard target to find and he's slowed considerably. Cloud would probably knock him out unfortunately.

 

Johnson has a very solid defense. Cloud doesn't have the tools to crack it. Maybe UD but Glen still knows how to apply pressure. Dawson only figured things out in their second fight. I'm thinking Johnson.
