RBR - Reiya Konishi vs. Orlie Silvestre & Ryuya Yamanaka vs. Vic Saludar.

First bout will see Reiya Konishi take on Orlie Silvestre for the vacant WBO AP 108lb title

 

1-Good start by Silvestre but Konishi takes over the round in the final minute.

 

2-Good start by Silvestre and he's cut Konishi, think from messy head action pretty bad cut on the left eye brow, yup head clash! Konishi saved his best work until late but probably an Orlie round

 

3-Orlie applying smart pressure and boxing when he needs to, Konishi landed a really good body shot and right hand but was out worked

 

4-Konishi moved through the gears and dominated Silvestre. He hammered the Filipino to the body through the round. The cut is a bad one but Silvestre won't last if Konishi can keep up the body work

 

5-Another bit Konishi round Lots of pressure and output and Silvestre seemed to be feeling the effects through the round

 

6-More pressure from Konishi but Silvestre has had a bit more success in creating space and countering than the previous 2 rounds. It's another for Konishi But a closer one

 

7-Another somewhat close round. Silvestre seems to have more bounce in his feet than Konishi, who seemed to tire against Canizales at this stage, Konishi applied pressure again but his successes seemed to be limited

 

8-Konishi really struggling to keep any sustained assault he's landing some nice single shots but Silvestre is probably landing more and is using his movement to make Konishi look pretty poor at times

 

9-Silvestre fighting with more confidence and standing closer, holding his own when the pace increases, Konishi takes a low blow, point taken from Silvestre and the cut has reopened badly. 9-9*round

 

10-Konishi fighting like a man who has gotten his second wind. A big round to the bloodied local. Silvestre had moments but was clearly the second best here

 

11-Silvestre fighting hard and forces Konishi off his feet, though not with a punch, they take it in turns to force the action, Silvestre is hurt! Konishi hunting, Silvestre survives

 

12-They are trading a big right sends down Silvestre, he gets up but the referee stops the bout. Konishi's face is a mess big cuts on both eyes...
