Ratchasi's record on the graphic on screen given as 13-5 (8) not 10-4 (7), I suspect boxrec are wrong as it'd be daft to inflate his record by 3-1 (1)

 

1-Watanabe comes forward but doesn't land anything of note, a right hand from the Thai, Ratchasi looks worried of Watanabe's power early on here and is tagged by a left, body shot from Watanabe, uppercutt from Ratchasi, a right from the Thai, Watanabe has the edge in speed, Ratchasi pinned on the ropes, a crafty right from the Thai, an uppercutt from Watanabe, a hook from Ratchasi, Watanabe looking to finish this but Ratchasi gets off the ropes,

 

2-Watanabe coming forward again but Ratchasi makes it messy and holds, Ratchai pinned on the ropes again, Watanabe going to work but the Thai fight well off them with power punches, Ratchais making things messy in center ring, and using his physical strength, Ratchasi back on the ropes and Watanabe goes to work with body shots, head combination from Ratchasi,

 

3-Watanabe gets Ratchasi on the ropes and goes to work again, the Thai with counters off the ropes and nice movement to make Watanabe miss and back off, commentators get very excited, Ratchasi has terrible footwork no wonder he is so happy on the ropes, hard right by Watanabe, combination from Ratchasi, counters from Ratchasi, Ratchasi tautning his man and winding his shot up, trading single shots in the corner. Ratchasi sticks his tongue out right in Watanabe's face as they walk to their corners.

Very much feel like one clean punch will finish this...

 

4-Ratchasi now forcing Watanabe back early on, the Thai eats a big shot but fires back immediately, the visitor has warmed to this well after a very sloiw start, left hook from Watanabe lands clean, body shot from Watanabe, the local coming on strong, left hook from Ratchasi, a combination follows, a straigth rught from Ratchasi who drops his hands and tkes 2 or 3 flush bombs, no shits given!

 

5-Watanabe starts this round on the front foot, both land at the same time, uppercutt from Watanabe, and another, and the Japanese fighter putting the heat on, Ratchasi turns him but backs off, some messy moments and both miss when looking for a bomb, big shot from Watanabe, Ratchasi with an uppercutt off the ropes, combination by Ratchasi, Watanabe with a counter, left hook by the Thai, big combination from Ratchsi and Watanabe takes it well before firing back, bombs traded traded in the neutral corner

This isn't all action but is very entertaining

 

6-Watanabe starting on the front foot again, Ratchasi backing up, Ratchasi looking to counter but not being given a lot of openings, combination from Watanabe and Ratchasi returns with interest, another combination from the Thai, the visitor takes 2 clean head shots before firing back,

 

7-Watanabe again on the front foot early on, Ratchsi picking his spots , combination from Watanabe, one back from Ratchasi who goes walkies afterwards, Watanabe chasing the Thai across the ring and pins him on the ropes again, Watanabe staying busy with Ratchasi on the ropes, the Thai's work rate has totally dropped off here,

 

8- Have a feeing Ratchasi will need a KO here
Watanabe bringing the pressure and looking busy, Ratchasi again on the ropes and a bomb by Watanabe, Watanabe backed on the ropes but Ratchasi just backs off, very odd from the Thai, Watanabe going forward and lands more clean shots, Ratchasi looks like he's fighting in a 12 rounder and taking rounds off here, stupid! Watanabe rocks the Thai on the ropes, Ratchasi finally comes on with 20 seconds left...and then he backs off and celebrates...he thinks he's won...and Watanabe looks pretty dejected....very odd

Next the Main Event, Japanese Featherweight title fight Takenori Ohashi (15-4-2, 10) v Taiki Minamoto (14-5, 11) - 21(T)KO wins from 29 combined wins,, 5 stoppages losses from a combined 9

This could be thrilling!

 

Been a few minutes but...here...we...go!

1-Minamoto stated at the weigh in that his speed would be the difference and straight away he's making that look the case as he dances in and out of range, Ohashi looking to time his opponents, Ohashi getting some success and looks the naturally bigger man, Minamoto showing some real nice touches of movement, big right hand from Minamoto, Ohahsi barges forward, Ohashi missing wildly due to the challenger's movement and speed, good body shot from Minamoto, and an even better one on the clacker! A big left on the bell for Minamoto

 

2-Ohashi looking for bonmbs but still has no answer at all for the speed difference, body shot from Minamoto, Head shot from the challenger and another, Ohashi appears to be wilting and Minamoto going for the kill with Ohashi in in the corner, Ohashi fights his way out but is backed up again, Minamoto is risking walking on to one but looks like he's in near complete control right now, HUGE right from the challenger, and a left hook rocks Ohashi! Ohashi is all over the place as the clacker rings! The bell saves him big time!

 

3-Ohashi trying to jump on Minamoto early but fails, Minamoto continues to be too quick and too sharp for the champion, jabs from Minamoto, body shot from Minamoto, Ohashi looks to have recovered his senses, big right from Minamoto, Minamoto toying with his man here and having a lot of fun, a right hand from Ohahsi and they are trading! Minamoto applying constant intelligent pressure here, a big right whizzes past Ohashi's face, Ohashi rocked backwards, a left hook from Minamoto, and a right almost drops the champion who again ends the round looking dazed
