Just watched the replay on YouTube, I though OD won. He landed the better punches.

I had it 6-4 McKenna, 6-4 clean, if you know what I mean, I could maybe see a draw but I didn't think Davies did enough to win.

Davies was getting get with quick little counters, got hit on the way out a lot, he looked sloppy, his footwork was shocking, he was just swinging, but he had a good 8th (if my memory serves me), landed the more powerful shots but McKenna landed more scoring shots in my opinion.

I actually think Davies thought he lost himself, after the final bell he looked down and a little flat while McKenna was smiling and happy.

Agree with your judgement, I scored it 6-4 McKenna too. I said in the RBR that I wouldn't argue with a draw, but I couldn't see 6 clear rounds for Davies.

Do we know which outfit is signing these lads to massively overpaid contracts?

imagine having to sign Bolotniks and Davies to six figure contracts.

Nothing has been announced once they have won and my guess Is the promoter is now shifting some of these figures around

I assumed it had to be Sky given they took the tournaments, but that has never been explicitly said.

Hearn getting Ohara back for 4 times what he was originally on could be a laugh.

Realistically who does Ohara face next? He got beat Miguel Vasquez a few fights back.

Or does Eddie just stick him in with Ritson. Both very moderate and the winner could burgle a world title fight?

Easy to forget how dreadful he was against Jack Catterall as well

That’s exactly my thought. No way Hearn is paying that kind of money to those fighters. Only guess is Davies vs Ritson like you said and Bolotniks or Michel vs Buatsi

Either that, or they get an enhanced MTK promotional deal?

In fairness that card should've had Jazza v Walsh on it which would've been a good fight.

Sky don't sign fighters do they ? I think the winners sign to MTK , if as is the case with OD they are already with MTK I assume their contract gets enhanced, think I read somewhere it is a 2 year 5 fight deal with MTK with a 6 figure purse for each.

I thought McKenna won 6-4 so wouldn't be surprised if a rematch is a part of OD's golden contract.

    Hadnt read that. Makes sense.

No idea how MTK with a YouTube channel and the ESPN deal which I assume pays pennies could sustain £500,000 for Ohara Davies

davies was deluded in his post-fight interview.
will get beat again when he steps in the ring with someone half decent.
