Sometimes they are but not always. It is when he hates a fighter the blinkers go on like Shields vs Marshall this weekend. At best it was a 9-1 or 8-2 fight in Shields favour, yet he managed to score it 96-94 for Marshall, when even Marshall and her trainer Peter Fury accept they lost.

 

Fury said it couldve gone either way you clown.

Marshall hurt Shields far more than vice versa, it was a good close fight.

 

@PinoyProdigy card is def the one I look at if I want an unbiased card.

@drenlou @Bustajay also are pretty unbiased too. There’s more names too but that’s just off the top of my head.

@CST80 if he didn’t make a pick or it’s a fighter he likes/dislikes.

I heard that and he is lying because he knows they lost clearly and it was not close at all. This was a schooling you ****ing idiot. As for being hurt it was Marshall head that was being knocked back. It was a good fight by Shields but it was not a close fight at all. It was a 9-1 maybe 8-2 and certainly if you bending over backwards to favour Marshall 7-3 all in favour of the GWOAT Claressa Shields. It’s so funny laughing at all you Claressa Shields haters, because she crapped all over Marshall. We know why you fools hate her and it’s nothing to do with boxing or her boxing ability.

 

IB will always be the goat scorer on this site I think. Without a doubt that's his legacy.

I find the scores in the RBRs to largely be better than the judged who get paid (or paid off) to watch the fights.

There are a lot of distractions you need to try and tune out when scoring a fight; the bias announcers, the compubox numbers (which are not accurate), your own personal bias, the crowd reaction to a hometown favorite etc.

I would like to see professional judges write a small recap of each round they just witnessed to justify their scores. Not sure if it would help anything but if some of us can do it in the RBRs for free, they can do it as well.

 

I agree with Pimp C's and The Professors scorecards the most. A lot of people hold extreme bias when scoring fights, most are flat out comical imo.
