Chin at 2 behind Ruslan and Murat, Power 1 in front of Tszyu imo.

Hank is on a 3-0 run since Bud Crawford stopped him; but bear in mind that that includes a gift decision over the quite shot DeMarcus Corley.

Fully agree with your list. :deal:

(although I might be tempted just to nose Gassiev ahead of Tszyu in terms of power)

I missed most of the round, but it appeared Abdullayev did the better work.

So, against "name" opponents/in meaningful bouts Lundy is essentially 0-3 officially and 0-4 unofficially going back FOUR years.

By that same token, however, he's still a huge step up for Abdullaev.

I thought Hank edged the first, only halfway through the second on my stream now.

    Round 1

Abdullaev is circling and keeping up a high guard at distance as Lundy double-jabs and flurries high from a crouching peekaboo stance. Lundy is firing straight combos up top and then melting down into a crouch again, occasionally lapsing into a Philly shell and turning away from Abdullaev's counter hooks. Near the bell Abdullaev is able to start timing Lundy's flurries and whack him behind the left ear with a looping right.

10-9 Lundy, very close, just on activity

Halfway, eh, mine is only 20 seconds in. Mine is lagging behind I guess. Hope there isn't a sudden KO that I get spoiled on reading before seeing it.

    Round 2

Lundy is pushing up jabs from a sidelong stance, then squaring up and raising the goalposts, leaving just enough of a gap between his forearms to expose his chest to create some counter-bait. Abdullaev is leaning away, using his lanky height to his advantage, catching some of Lundy's body jabs with check elbows (flicked outward from his left flank). Abdullaev isn't throwing much, but landing cleaner when he does with jabs on the nose and soft declining straight rights on the body. Just before the bell Lundy is able to slip a few lunging shots using slick twists in the Philly shell, but his counters aren't really scoring either aside from a grazing jab here and there.

10-9 Lundy, SUPER close, easily could be 19-19 or 20-18 Abdullaev now.

    20-18 Lundy

Hank Lundy fights can be a bitch to score. Bet the farm on him gassing in a round or two, though.

Abdullayev trying to take Lundy out with that right uppercut.

    Round 3

Abdullaev is pressuring, shoulders hunched up & pinched inward, long arms folded up over his face ready to block or strike. Lundy is forced to retreat into a corner with Abdullaev slashing at the body with left hooks and letting down the drawbridge jab. Lundy is throwing counters and missing the head of Abdullaev, who is slipping effectively by lowering his corresponding shoulder, dipped to either side when Lundy throws. Abdullaev is lashing down upon Lundy's head with the right hand now, toying with him. Lundy frantically mustering counter flurries and hitting nothing but glove, arm or air.

    10-9 Abdullaev

    29-28 Lundy
