Abdullaev is leaning slightly to his side as Lundy keeps loading up on HUGE right hands (exaggeratedly winding them up by twisting his entire upper half partway clockwise above the waist) and punishing him with jabs flipped up from the hip into his nose. Lundy just isn't learning his lesson, trying out the same failed strategies over and over, something that has plagued him throughout his career. Abdullaev is now alternating, bringing the jab up into Lundy's mouth and then dismissively wiping it backhanded against Lundy's chest (like a Victorian gentleman issuing a duel challenge with his pristine white glove) all while making Lundy miss his own jabs merely by turning/leaning away from them at mid-range while circling at an easy pace.

Round 7

Abdullaev is cranking up the heat now, finishing off his combos with left hooks that fully rock Lundy into an involuntary sideways bowing motion. It has the appearance of a schoolyard bully repeatedly cuffing a smaller kid across the head demanding his lunch money. Lundy panics and turns southpaw, establishing himself in the pocket with a couple of high right jabs and then digging with left uppercuts on the belly. He scores a couple of times cleanly but Abdullaev isn't backing up, and immediately resumes slashing the now fully exposed starboard rib cage of Lundy with low-sweeping left hooks when Lundy jabs. Abdullaev cracking the right hand like a whip, sometimes clubbing with the inner forearm instead of his fist, but rattling Lundy's brains regardless.

I almost kind of miss Teddy Atlas' call of Lundy fights.

Particularly his weird inability to pronounce his very straightforward name.
