Yun starting to get desperate, drilling down into the back of Ayvizidi's skull with rabbit punches to get him to go down, to no avail. (Ayvizidi is inviting those, to be fair, with his curled-up posture on the inside)

Brilliant mover and his sneaky switches into right handed uppercuts are both wily and effective. I feel if he had that oomph those shots would catch a lot of fighters off guard and put em down for the count.

Ah good ole Slavs and their old school chauvinism, just like real men should be.

Seems like he'll need to wait until at least try #4 to get that elusive first kayo...

I don't speak Russian, but Yun got it by some kind of decision. Probably unanimous.

Ramazanov is obviously meant to be the A-side prospect here, but the compact and powerfully-built little tank (bobbing & weaving and exploding with lunging hooks at the head, very much Tyson inspired) gets ahead of himself at times, and is missing loads. The awkward, lanky Ukrainian is giving him a boxing lesson at times.

Strong close from Ramazanov, and he takes it on points.

This was meant to be a super feather contest, but Kalitsky missed weight by 2¼lb.

    Round 1

Kalitsky is circling away behind a defensive up-jab and some rights speared unconvincingly into Castillo's midsection. Nonstop pressure applied by the Argentinian, catching the Kazakh with a plunging right hand on the nose delivered from up by his own cheek after blinding Kalitsky with a side-swiping backhanded motion with his left arm (definitely would't call it a jab :sisi1)

    10-9 Castillo

    Round 2

Kalitsky is trading jabs with Castillo; bad idea, since his own is checked on Castillo's right arm while his neck is getting jacked back sharply. Castillo is jabbing into the hairline of Kalitsky while circling left, and ducking big catapult right hands thrown from Kalitsky's rear hip, some of them grazing the nape of his neck as he presses in to clinch. Kalitsky starts to connect on the right hands more as he cuts the distance and steps through Castillo's jabs.

    10-9 Kalitsky, very close

    19-19

    Round 3

Kalitsky is holding Castillo at bay effectively with the 1-2 now, then squatting and piercing the stomach with a jab with a slight rolling lean forward, dipping his left shoulder before throwing it. Castillo very tentative in his approach, now, plodding cautiously toward Kalitsky but not throwing any punches. The commentators - otherwise speaking in Russian - keep repeating "¡trabajo, Castillo! :shakehead:".

    10-9 Kalitsky

    29-28 Kalitsky

...alright, why is @ShovelHook the only person besides me bothering to watch some free (and decent quality) boxing on a Friday morning? Does everyone needs their super-fan cards revoked? :rosstheboss

@CST80 has an excuse, as this is about his bedtime...and @Drew101 tbf appears to have logged off just ten minutes before I made the RBR thread (oops!) ...while @Somachenko, who customarily would be front & center for these Russian cards, hasn't logged in here in a week :)dunno)...

    But ... @Chuck Norris @KiwiMan @UnleashtheFURY @Serge @mirkofilipovic @lepinthehood @Pimp C @f1ght3rz @Max Thunder @pistal47 @GK BOX @MVC! @bandeedo @robert ungurean @George Crowcroft @roughdiamond - what's all y'all's alibis?

YOU'RE LURKING ON A BOXING FORUM WHILE THERE IS BOXING ON THAT YOU ARE IGNORING.

Never have I understood that.
