Hovhannisyan appears to be as much a crude slugger as has every other Armenian boxer to have borne that surname.

 

Cool, because Lil Butt's mom is about to drop him off, so I'll not be around for bouts #11 or 12 (and probably not the second half of #10 in progress here), but I'll set him up on the Switch or Wii for his designated screen time in time for the main event.

 

In his last outing, Hovhannisyan lost a wide UD in a 6-rounder to none other than Sardor Muzaffarov.

He already probably needs a KO to beat Vokhidov...but has only ever registered one stoppage victory in a dozen bouts.

 

Oh wait, that's confusing... I just realized this is a completely different Magomed Kurbanov than I was thinking. Another unbeaten Russian prospect exists by that name, but he fights at light middleweight...and has also looked underwhelming on multiple occasions, although he is still hyped up by some people IIRC..

The guy at 154lbs (full name Magomed Ramazanovich Kurbanov) was supposed to have fought Michel Soro this summer but apparently that fell through. He would've been schooled. (although MRK's definitely better than super feather MHK)
