I've been busy last week, but I'll get back to the gym tomorrow. I'll use this thread to keep track of progress. Fri Dec 12 Short run, 3.9 miles. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=1871475 Sat Dec 13 Rest day.

Looks good mate, think id be dead after one of those workouts. Ive been doing abit of running, I get bored quite easily though so ive only been doing a couple of miles (not that i could do alot more).
The more you run, the better you will be at it and the less boring it will be. It takes a while but it can actually be fun.
I've noticed headphones help me when I run. With them, I can run forever, but without them I feel naked in a sence and get bored quite easily. My two cents...
What drills are you using RDJ for attack and defence? Also how many fights have you had? How long you been training?
Nothing special really just normal gym work like being hit with certain combinations and defending against them. Start simple and slow, and make it harder as you go along. First defend against just jabs, then add in the right hands, then hooks and finally against everything. The focus was on defense, not offense. My first fight will be in February, I started very late (age 28 ) and it wasn't the plan to fight at first. I've been training for almost 4 years now, the first of which I never set foot in a ring though.
Wed Dec 17 No time to go to the gym today so I biked to the swimming pool and I'm about to do a short roadwork session with some shadowboxing. As soon as my food settles. 10 mile bike ride 1 hour swim 3.9 mile run 3 x 3 minutes shadowboxing
Thu Dec 18 5 mile bike ride 25 minutes warming up (jump rope with some floor work mixed in) 3 x 3 shadowboxing 10 x 3 heavy bag 3 x 3 shadowboxing 10 minutes cooling down 5 mile bike ride
RDJ i have abit of advice for your fight. i notice when people start out they throw fast shoulder punches so just throw your normal shots dont do tippy tappys. also your boxin to have fun so enjoy it its better if you go out and have fun. im a confidence fighter who gets better if im winning so i always go out to have fun
I've been boxing for a while I just haven't had a fight yet. An exhibition a while ago and that's it, but I've been sparring two or three times a week for years now.
were these polish bike rides or regular? if polish then you are doing too much. p.s. you have a good list
I don't know what a polish bike ride is exactly, but I do know it's something rather filthy I live 5 miles from the gym, hence the two times 5 mile ride.
Fri Dec 19 Gym's closed, and I don't have much time. Hence nothing but a short roadwork session. 3.9 miles, on soft surfaces. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=424682
