I lost a close and "controversial" (according to many) decision, 27-23 :!: No it was rather heavy sparring. I actually trained yesterday because I felt really good and days off don't do much for me at all, I feel clumsy afterwards. No excuses though, because I was in good shape when I entered the ring. Do it do it. It will motivate the **** out of you
Hmm not so good with the fight, yet you are kinda upbeat, certainly a positive. Got to say, you are the only fighter i know of, Ams or Pro that trains and spars hard right up to fight night, from what you have said. I am sorting out a prog for uploading pics so i should have ma thread up etc sometime today. Appreciate the go go go :good Hard lines with the fight, big numbers ( scores ), so you certainly aint gun shy. Am calling it a win :bbb

Wed Apr 8 5 mile cycle 15 minutes jump rope 3x3 heavy bag 12x2 sparring (not in a row, we took turns as there were 4 of us) 2x3 heavy bag 5 mile cycle I was on fire in sparring today! Seriously I never did this well in the ring before.
Thu Apr 9 5 mile cycle 35 minutes jump rope 2x3 heavy bag 15x2 sparring, perhaps more (various opponents, a 3rd time sparring noob, a short girl and two good boxers) 10 minutes stretch 5 mile cycle

Mon Apr 13 Rest because of flu. Tue Apr 14 Rest because of flu. Wed Apr 15 Rest because of flu. It sucks but I've been overtraining like a madman so I guess I had it coming.
Thu Apr 16 (morning) 45 minutes jump rope At the end I threw my rope down for a quick shadowbox, stepped on the handle and twisted my ****ing ankle. Great. Not sure if I can box today.
