You do realise he is not going to go through with it because your not replying to his messages apparently.
He should have warned me about that in a text message then, the ones he did send indicated no problems.
Sparred again for the first time in about a month, it went quite ok. I'm not going to update this log like I previously did. My ring stamina isn't what it was before I got injured, but it's getting there. I felt very comfortable in the ring, more in control than ever.
Been working out daily for the past few weeks. Not a lot of boxing, about twice a week, due to schedule issues. Sparred tonight, I felt great physically just a little rusty in the first rounds. I should spar more over the next few weeks. Got an exhibition tomorrow, I'm not very concerned about it as it's against a gym buddy and there is no weight limit obviously.
Re-re-re-reinjured the ankle. Something is very fishy with it, I have a big lump on it now, an inflammation most likely. I'll phone the doctor tomorrow. It just gave in out of nothing during roadwork.
that sucks about you ankle, i was intriuged by what sort of training you do i looked up your log, very impressed just spent like 10mins lookin over the whole thing. Whats your record now? I would hate to think of the stamina of the guy that beat you in the contriverstial split decision. Have you had the ankle examined at all?
Sparred about 30 rounds in the past week. I moved a bit further from the gym so I now cycle between 25 and 30 miles a day on top of that. There's a good chance I can fight late September, so I'll be focusing on that. I'm about 7 pounds over the light welter limit (that I can barely make) so we'll see how that works out in the next few weeks.
I'm still 0-1, I got injured two weeks after the fight. His stamina wasn't all that, he had a very low punch output except for the first 30 seconds. He got a gift, I'm hoping for a rematch No, I kept procrastinating There's still a lump on it, but it does not bother me much in boxing training. Injury risk is high so I need to be very careful.
I'm starting up my log again, training has picked up lately. Sat Sep 12 6.2 mile cycle 15 minutes jump rope 2x3 shadowboxing 2x3 heavy bag 10x2 sparring 3x3 shadowboxing 5 minutes stretch 6.2 mile cycle
