I never said I was a know-it-all, I know what I know from my experience of training. I am the first to admit you people have more experience in the field than me if you've noticed! I am always willing to learn something from more experienced people. If I come off as a know-it-all it's just my character its not really on purpose to sound like I know everything, because I don't and I freely admit it! Thanks for the encouragement and feedback, Amy, appreciated. Right now I'm revising for my first University exams and not doing a very good job of it.
No training today. Hurt my elbow yesterday in sparring, no idea what happened though. I have a bit of a swelling, it's already better than yesterday. I also cut my tongue in the first round. I'm a bit of a slow starter it seems, I get hit before I wake up. Ps. how ****ing unuseful is deleting when it leaves a message. Now it looks as if there was an e-fight. I'll just undelete them so everyone can see what a *** MrSmall is.
It'll just show what a DOUCHEMAN you really are, doucheman. THERE WAS AN EFIGHT PEOPLE HAVE NO ILLUSIONS.

Today will not be very good for my condition. Yesterday was exact 4 years after my father was killed, and until now I "celebrated" that by getting as drunk as possible and drowning in self pity. But unfortunately my money had not arrived yet, so I'm doing that today. It's 14:30 in the afternoon, I think I will drink my first beer within the hour. Cheers.
Didn't box much the past week, and I didn't feel like posting much either. Ran a few times, swam some, biked some. Tue Jan 27 Short roadwork session, 3.9 miles. 3 x 3 shadowboxing
Wed Jan 28 5 mile bike ride 15 minutes warming up 6x3 bag work 3x3 sparring against an experienced guy (1) 3x3 sparring against a newer but rather heavy and very tall guy (2) 10 minutes cooling down 5 mile bike ride 1) Did ok, had my moments, and learned some. 2) Tall guy, he basically kept it at a distance. Didn't do much, but didn't get hit that much either despite me having to take all the risk.
Thu Jan 29 5 mile bike ride 25 minutes warming up (arrived a bit early) 3x3 heavy bag 6x3 sparring against a southpaw 2x3 heavy bag 9 minutes bag drill 5 mile bike ride I wanted to do just bag work because I had a migraine attack today, but I was called into the ring anyway. First punch that landed made me regret it, but it went better from that point on. It was my own fault anyway, I had my chin in the air. Got hit flush on the jaw and my head felt like a gong. Lesson re-learned.
