I took a few punches during sparring yesterday, so I have a bit of a shiner and my nose, which was painful and hurting from last week, was also bloodied up a little. There's probably no training anyway tonight (free training) so I'll do my thing outside instead.

I dunno how the **** anyone can do a manual job monday to friday and still find the time and energy to get in 3 or more gym sessions a week. I'm always too knackered to go after work, and if I do force myself to go, I'm too ****ed to do anything worthwhile. I miss shift work.
I hear you, Rakim. Up until about a month ago I was training every day, but with work and school it was really wearing me down (plus I have my senior honors thesis due for school in about three weeks time). I was getting really stressed out, acting grumpy as **** with people. It wasn't good. I decided to take a little time off from training to get my **** together. I feel like I've regained my peace of mind, only problem is the training has been non-existant. RDJ, about how long does one of these regular workouts take you to finish? (I'm thinking in the 2-and-a-half hour range, no?)
About 2.5 hours I guess, including the biking. Sat Feb 21 4 mile roadwork session 3x3 shadowboxing 5 minutes stretching
Sun Feb 22 Nothing. Well, actually... we did a very short demo at a new martial arts school in a nearby town. I thought it would be more of a workout, but it was only about half an hour including warming up. I guess today was the rest day I did not plan.
