Bradley is a possibility. As is a Marquez rematch.

Alvarez outside chance.

Doubt Martinez.

Doubt Trout.

If Mayweather somehow loses in the near future, the Pacquiao fight will be back on the table.

 

When Matthysse wins the 140 tournament hope he gets a shot at Floyd in the future

 

While Tim is with Top Rank it won't happen.

 

Alvarez for sure. Within 12 months that fight will be made. And I think with a bit more experience/improvement Canelo could beat him and that may well be it for Floyd anyway.

Broner has the same agent, it's never going to happen.

Brook? No way, he'll likely lose to Alexander, but even if he doesn't he's small time. Khan has more chance of the fight than Brook.

 

Splitting hairs a bit I know but I think Martinez is a 154lber who fights at middleweight because thats where the money was when he got the title shot.

Its a shame Mayweather and Pac are small/ not natural welters so 154 against a Martinez is seen as more of a problem that it would be otherwise.

 

I'll go on a limb and say Mayweather will never fight Alvarez.

 

Or how about floyd act like a great fighter he keeps saying he is and take a big risk .

You know like hearns Pac delahoya leonard, all the guys he says hes better than, they took that risk went up that 6th division despite big weight disadvantages, to prove themselves as special fighters.

Why wont floyd do that stuff ?

It's Floyd's own fault that the second half of his career has been a complete abortion, in all honesty.

It's not in the same class as Leonard's 2nd career, the blatant cash grabbing with the rematch against Hearns and the half marathon against Duran..... plus the Lalonde fight.

Plus, the circumstances were much different, with the serious eye injury curtailing things in 1982.

Floyd had a good 2007 with wins over DLH and Hatton, then took two years off, took on an undersized Marquez (still one of his best wins), then a decent win over Mosley..... then took another 18 months off before fighting a bum in Victor Ortiz.

A decent-ish win over Cotto - not as good a job as Pacquiao did on him mind, nowhere near actually.... and then another year off before fighting Guerrero - who claims to be a multi-weight world champion but somehow went through the feather and lightweight divisions without facing any of the fab four, and hasn't done much of note since then really.

Floyd came up with reasons galore to avoid Margarito, who he ought to have dominated, and then squealed like a stuck pig at the thought of fighting Pacquiao after the demolition job on Cotto back in '09.

What a waste!

 

6 fights is never going to happen. 2-3 Max. I hope he fights Bradley next.
