    Exactly Pat!

There's no method to his madness - it's just all madness.

According to Pollack, he had a severe elbow issue due to throwing a medicine ball around. A doctor diagnosed it as a dislocated elbow, based on a published X ray. It was amazing that Jeffries, and Sharkey for that matter, lasted 25 rounds under the unbelievable lighting conditions. Even so, the tiny bit of existing film shows them both very active in the last couple rounds. It's really too bad the original film doesn't exist.

    No, you're missing the point.

No fighter in history is judged based on training footage.

You said if the footage was good I would use it as judgement.

I asked you to quote one time I've ever done that.

You then came back with this drivel.

I'm not a fan of the man, I had no bubble to deflate.

I haven't even watched the footage in years. I tend not to watch training footage.

If longer training footage came out I don't think I'd watch it tbh.

If footage of him fighting at his best came out, then of course we could use that to judge him.

How on earth did he ever amass the best resume in history fighting like that?

If you pay me a good amount, I’ll read through your entire post history. Otherwise, save the self important nonsense.

I'm not saying I'm self important, you made the claim, not me.

Good thing that he's not fighting or even trying to do boxing training here.

Corbett looks amateurish ,Jeffries looks like a predictable plodder without defence.Dixon an innocuous mannequin, to be fair to Dixon I've only seen the clip with Leon.

Not broken damaged by a medicine ball if I remember right .Sharkey dislocated his arm during the fight, broke a knuckle and cracked 2 ribs.I think the worst thing for both of them was the low overhead Krieg lights that actually singed Jeffries hair. Tough guys in those days!

Of course you would - why even try to pretend otherwise?

It isn't pretending, I don't find the thought of training footage that enthralling.

    I'm sure there's interviews of his I haven't seen.

There's books written about him I haven't read.

I didn't even rewatch the training video when it was posted up here.
