    1- 10-9 Barrera
    2- 10-9 Barrera
    3- 10-9 Morales
    4- 10-9 Barrera
    5- 10-9 Morales
    6- 10-9 Morales
    7- 10-9 Barrera
    8- 10-9 Morales
    9- 10-9 Barrera
    0- 10-9 Morales
    11- 10-9 Barrera
    12- 10-9 Barrera (no knockdown)

I thought Marco landed the cleaner shots, and he landed the only significant blow of the last round when the fight was in the balance.

If Margarito vs Cotto on Saturday night is even half as good as this, we're going to be in for one hell of a fight.

Barrera and Morales are both legends of the sport.

    Nah, Morales won.

I scored it for barrera the night of the fight. But after watching it over, and scoring every round with pen and paper, Morales won because he was the more active fighter and for every clean shot barrera landed Morales came back with his own. It's just that Barrera's punches looked more devastating since he is more compact.

I thought Morales won also. He was one Helluva a fighter in his day, I was really amazed by him in his prime.

Why you being so dimissive? Are you claiming the fight couldn't have gone either way?

The majority of rounds belong to Barrera, he worked the body, and also threw the better shots upstairs. Compubox also tell the same story.

Fight could have gone either way, but I scored it for Barrera.

    What?

Fight could have gone either way, true, especially if you watched it only a couple times. I have watched it nearly 10 times, seriously, and I have to give it to Morales because even though Barrera landed the harder punches, Morales was more active, landing his which weren't too far behind Barrera's in the hard category, nevertheless more active.

I haven't scored it since the day I watched it the first time. I remember at the time wondering why there was so much controversy as I agreed with the decision. Morales was more active, threw more, landed more and pressed the action for most of the fight. barrera landed some very nice good looking shots which I guess is why some people think that he won.

It was a close fight and I can understand someone scoring it for Barrera but to say that the fight was a robbery or anything remotly close to one is BS.
