In what you use to get fit/in shape or ready for a fight etc?

Do you just pound the road, hit the bags, do sit up's/crunches/push up's etc?

Or are you always on the hunt for new and different forms of excercise to get yourself in shape/fit or ready for a fight?

it'd be foolish to dismiss anything without trying it to see if you helps you achieve your goals.

All of this so called "modern" training started about 30 years ago. After 3 decades there still isn't any evidence that it is more effective that good old fashioned boxing training. The conclusion should be obvious.

Lol. What? You'll have to give examples of what you're referring to when you say modern in the last 30 years.

Even if the old ways still work it'd be stupid to ignore modern methods just because they're modern. Some boxers and coaches don't seem to grasp this. I've seen many videos from scrap, things I've never seen Ali doing. What the **** is that about?

Both. My boxing training is completely oldschool, as is my roadwork. However I have adopted a more 'Modern" lifting/plyometrics regimen, as well as more informed nutrition.
