How many times has he taken a clean punch from a KO artist.

In fact, how many times has he taken a clean punch?

Lennox smashed him to bits and he stood up well.

Sanders landed a few as well, so he definately has a better chin than his brother...

He's got a good chin, no doubting that, but many people put him on Olive McCall levels which is pure nonsense since really he hardly EVER gets hit flush.

Exactly he hardly gets hit. Good chin though mind you so did Tua and monte barrett knockedhim down.

he took alot of hard shots from lewis and never went down

he took a few off sanders and never went down although he was slightly buzzed in the first round

he took a few rights from sosnowski and chisora and was never hurt or down

arreola connected with hard bodyshots and a few wild punches in the first few rounds and it didn't affect him

Sosnowski and Chisora are not punchers by any stretch of the imagination, Arreola is an accumilation puncher.

You cant compare the shots he's taken to any of this

He simply never entered the ring with anyone with remotley this sort of power, let alone took shots like that.

    Sorry.

That uppercut by Lewis would have FLOORED McCall onto the canvas.

It's a fair comment. The reason being a younger Vitali was very difficult to hit with a good shot. Nowadays not so much.

Ah the good old "back in the magical 30s and 50s and 70s the fighters had much more power than modern day fighters". Right?

I mean Foreman punched so hard he managed to drop a 195 lbs Joe Frazier half a dozen times! Certainly Foreman's punching power must be super-human! Right?

    yup

Lol @ the weight thing making much of a difference too, Joe Louis Completley pulverized Primo Carnera who weighed 65lbs more than him, i mean he literally ALMOST KILLED HIM, as did Max Baer.

At the end of his Career, Carnera was getting KTFO by light heavyweights, thats like Tavoris Cloud Ko'ing Valuev, Carneras 6'6" 260lb frame didnt mean his chin was made of granite by any means

Foreman also while weighing 215 I remember him repeatedly smashing this built 250lb guy to the canvas until the ref showed mercy.

Power and Chin really doesnt have anything to do with weight, Klitschko fans just dont understand it.

they don't understand boxing it seems

You know the Klitschkos are really good when the most threads about them are actually being started by haters.

You again. Yes yes we all know that any fighter before 1990 was ****, had no power and would never able to beat any modern heavy because they would be too small. By the way Frazier weighed 214lb for Foreman. And Foreman knocked out and beat the **** out of heavyweights in the 90's who weighed in the 230's and 40's and KO'd them COLD. Foreman was an enormous puncher - people who know a lot more than you do about boxing and who have actually fought Foreman would tell you that. You are a nobody. Go away.

Taras Bidenko had a 275lbs Valuev on ***** street and almost knocked him down. So did Haye.

They have a superhuman punch? Clearly Bidenko and Haye must be in the top 10 HW punchers hall of fame? :deal

Indeed. Any man who weighs around 200lbs has the potential to KO a man far larger than him. Hell Thomas Hearns at 147lbs knocked down heavyweights in sparring sessions. Massive punchers are massive punchers. Joe Louis is a good example.
