Why would anyone waste their time re-watching this "fight"? I'm a huge fan of both guys and had a hard time watching it the first time!

nah Pac aint slowin' down : it's just a bad style match up for him

Pac will always look bad against movers/boxers

Mosley has the same problem : he looked bad against every above average boxer/mover he's faced

Pac definitely overtrained. It's the same sentiment people here feared when Ariza said Pac was in better shape than he was against Margarito over a month ago. Pac was very quick and sharp in training. As far as Mosley, he did not know how to handle Pac's combinations and the fear on his face showed it.

Hard to measure that considering that Marquez has only fought against Mayweather at WW. I think Floyd hits harder than Marquez in general however, so I'd imagine even more so at welterweight.

A mixture between Options 3 & 4. Shane had nothing to give but was also petrified of Pacquiao's power. Pacquiao had the only intention to make it a "fight" but for reasons(Shane's movement, Pac's leg cramp, Pac not looking great against those on the backfoot) that didn't happen. Leg cramp or not it's still a performance Pacquiao shouldn't be proud of though he did win clearly. I blame his team for cherrypicking an old Mosley though Mayweather slightly did the same thing. I do believe Pacquiao is slipping and his last effortless performance was against Hatton.

The big factor for me was Pac's unwillingness or inability to adjust in order to be more effective against Shane. I realize Shane was running most of the time...but isn't/wasn't Pac supposed to be blazing fast with superior footwork?? You're telling me Superman (or Wapakman in this case) can't catch a faded, slowest version of Shane Mosley? What about setting up traps? Cutting off the ring? I didn't see any of those tactics from Pac. I also didn't see more body shots as attempts to slow down Shane's legs (even though they're already slow).

Another thing I learned is Team Pac seems to love to come up with excuses when they lose or struggle. To this day I haven't heard them praise Morales for his win over Pac. You have the itchy socks excuse in relation to Marquez and now you have leg cramps used as a reason for Pac's inability to stop Shane. Floyd admitted he was hurt by Shane's right hand. Why can't Pac admit he had trouble dealing with Shane's movement?

Pacquiao showed us and Shane Mosley he is a hundred times the fighter Mosley is right now. Mosley showed he was after a pay day more than anything by refusing to risk a KO in order to do something that could win him the fight.

Shane lost the fight in the 3rd round, he just wasn't counted out yet.

I didn't see Pac with his bouncing in/out movement

    Round 11 was 'different'

    The fight was too friendly

I always thought he was great at cutting off the ring especially when he got his opponents very hurt and he wanted to finish the fight. This was way back when he was still at 112 and 122. Rewatch those older fights.

I guess he cuts the ring off better when he sees the opponent about to go, than when his opponent is still very fresh, active and alert and ready to throw heavy counters at any time.

That was due to bad leg. However Pacman took the risk on rounds 11 & 12.
