Bum rushed Sanders and paid a price. That loss was good for him.
Don't know what happened in Brewster fight but it wasn't Brewsters achievement. And he couldn't put half dead Wlad to the ground with dozen of shots.

    2 things.

Wlad has improved a great deal

Heavyweights these days don't seem to have the balls or chin to go toe to toe with Wlad

Wlad can't handle pressure I have no idea why Glass Jaw Haye fought the way he did, even when he threw those awful wide shots Wlad doesn't like it and was in no position to counter.

Sam Peter, as awful and slow as he is, tried to bring pressure to Wlad in the first few rounds of their second fight and had some success.

Chambers, Chagaev and Haye were disgraceful.

Well he maybe has a glass heart to, and after he got hit few times fought to survive, he did not have Brewsters determination and heart. Even if he had it doesnt mean at all he would win but at least he would not be on a defensive all night!

He got **** beat out of him and landed 1 punch in 3 rounds.
It's a myth that pressure is way to go. More you pressure more you get. Wlad fire away guys who go forward. That is why i anticipated a fight with Povetkin.
There are many ways to beat any fighter. For example Tua lost in slugfest to Ike but it would much easier to just outbox him like many did(hell Maskaev handed his ass to him for 7 rounds). Currently no one can come close to outbox Wlad. And it seems like wlad figured out a way how to force boxing match. If someone pressure him he just meet them when they come in and ties up or move away right afterwards. It's not pressure what will beat wlad(it's age) but sturdy game plan which wont allow him to land often(which is really not that realistic). Of all fighters of all time I know only 3 that I would give a clear edge over Wlad(more then 70%). 1.Lewis 2.Tyson 3. Ali
And still he has a decent chance against any of them.

Getting in range and finding a way past the jab, doubled with Wlad's excellent footwork and clever (if infuriating) clinching are all valid reasons as to why it isn't quite so easy to beat him.

If you can't see Wlad has improved a lot since those fights, it means you should start watching another sport, maybe ping pong or something would be better suited to you?

Arreoloa is the only guy to aggressively go after one of them in the last few years. Unfortunately for him, he went after Vitali who has the chin and mental toughness Wlad lacks and got his ass whipped.

Based on the two fights you just watched, Cris has the style and attitude that is all wrong for Wlad. I know I sound like a broken record and hopefully we'll see it happen this year.

Wlad K is truly one of those guys who will be massively appreciated after he has retired, Id love itif he got to 20 defences and then retired, on top of those WBO ones he made before he got beat, to the run he has had now? That would make a nice little case for a hall of fame career. I think he would of given anyone in history trouble. Would he of beaten a prime tyson, or a prime ali? I dont think so, but he would certainly had a shout. I see him beating most of the lasts centuries heavyweight champs.
