Everyone has an opinion, and if Canelo feels Mayweather beat him that is perfectly fine. Canelo is a very intelligent and level headed man. In fact I would say he's probably one if not the most dedicated fighter out of the elite, a true student of the game. With that said... I scored each round individually, and I posted my results in between rounds on this very thread, so if you'd like to challenge me on each round scored by all means, pick a round and tell me what you saw. I had it 6-6, I can score it again and possibly get another result, just about every round was that competitive.
Card? I don't need no stinkin card! Even the people in Alvarez's corner knew he clearly lost that fight. When C.J. Ross's card was announced as a draw, a person in Alvarez's corner said that fight wasn't a draw and Alvarez didn't argue with him. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you are trolling. If you are serious then there is no point discussing this any further with you because you are delusional.
The fight was close and competitive. I didn't see ANYONE get their ass whooped... Whether you want to give every close round to Mayweather, that's you prerogative, but the fight was close on a round by round basis.
In a per round basis, yes it was, and if you disagree, how which rounds did Mayweather dominate.. No one that claims Mayweather "whooped" Canelo, or dominated Canelo, or kicked Canelo's ass can say which rounds Mayweather dominated, maybe you can.
If you're saying the fight was competitive within the rounds, that's different. But even then, there weren't many rounds that could simply go either way aside from maybe 2. You don't have to dominate a round to win it clearly and Floyd won most of them more than clearly enough. He was definitely kicking his ass in the rounds he had Canelo backed into the corner/ropes frozen in the face of Floyd's pawing jab.
It's easy to just make a claim with giving specifics. I posted my score on this thread, how about you refute it, or better yet how about you tell which rounds Mayweather won "More than clearly" .
Even if GGG leaves Canelo laying motionless on his back, the ref will still crouch down to lift Canelo's limp arm in the air as the winner.
Havent watched it since that night but I had it 116-112 floyd. I will say that many of the rounds he lost he just gave away. Could have won 12-0. But NO WAY was 114-114 sensible.
