I was scared for floyd but then again i had 86 dollars on floyd by decision.... and i had floyd down two rounds and after i saw him rocked and hurt, i really thought that floyd was going to lose for a minute. It took till the 6 for me to feel comfortable about the situation. Both guys seem very nervous about each other and floyd looked very tight in the first while shane is more loose. Floyd missed several of his famous leap left hook but eventually he found home with his lead right. How about you guys
I thought Floyd was going to get knocked down by someone for the very first time in his career. I knew he wasn't going to get KO'd, because if he came back up from a KD he would be fighting smarter. I had to rewatch the fight a 2nd time to spot the **** Floyd did to make him take the last minute of the round, even though he was rocked earlier. I expected Mosley to surprise us at least once before the fight happened, and surprise us he did by catching FLoyd cleanly.
It was a good thing that shane rocked floyd bc if shane wouldn't have rock floyd i think floyd would take his sweet time to fight making a nip tuck rounds but i think after being embrassed, he shook off his nerves and just said f**k it and went for it. And hell he backed shane up like u said by the end of the second round.
I had a little bit of cash on Floyd too. But hell...I was rooting for Mosley after a couple of those hard shots. Floyd looked real hurt and I thought Mosley is the kind of fighter who could capitilize on it. Floyd just took over from the 3rd round though.
That's what ****ed Mosley up psychologically. Being forced back by Floyd out of all people after landing those two big bombs earlier in the round.
The second round was great, to bad Mosley didn't throw his right hand for the next 10 rounds. Floyd didnt won becuse he was great, he won because Mosley seriously faded after 2'nd round, throwing maybe 10 shots per round.
We were all jumping and yelling as we knew as the fight progressed Mosley would have fewer and fewer chances. What I didn't expect was FMJ pressing the fight. I give him credit for a good victory and I don't think Pac can do much better against him.
I predicted Shane to come out strong so i wasn't to worried. Not only that PBF is a slow starter as most counter punchers are.
Floyd won the first round. I thought I was shouting for a Mosley win, then when Mayweather buckled in the second I soon realised that I actually cared about Mayweather's unbeaten record:shock: and was a bit worried. The 3rd round was an amazing performance by Mayweather. the rest of the fight became predictable.
I'm actually glad Shane caught him with a good shot. It shook him up and made him work harder quicker and the results were mesmerizing. It's funny after Floyd dominated the 3rd round, my cousin who was going for Mosley told me "that's it. Mosley won't win another round." LOL they know how Floyd is. Once he adjusts, the remaining chess pieces are all marked.
i wasn't shocked that mosely punching two feet through floyds head would hurt him. I was shocked at Floyd's immediate perfect reaction to being hurt. Perfect holding to clear the head and playing some head games with his usual cocky smile. He held the arm instead of the body so he couldn't just me shook off. I was impressed.
He really is a smart fighter. Holding the arm and buying time was so smart. I am a Floyd fan and was very scared at that stage but by the 3rd and 4th round i felt confortable that he would win. Nazeems statement about Floyd turning into a Dragon when pushed was totally right. And even though he was wobbled i really think he has a good chin. Dont know if everyone would agree but i thought it was a great fight and a good undercard.
