Hang on? You predicted a clear win for Frampton , and you based that on Frampton's sheer boxing ability and the negligence surrounding Quiggs severe 'weight drain issues' using two comparison photos as evidence. You were wrong on both accounts. Now who's the 'Twit' ? :hi:
Apart from the one Hail Mary right hand swing in the 11th - which probably looked good from the cheap seats, but didnt bother Frampton, Quigg really did Sooooo little in the fight.
I think Quigg definitely hurt Frampton to the body in the 11th. Dont think the right hand to the head did much. Carl came back and took the 12th easily though, so he was able to shake off the body shot pretty well.
They both landed some great bodyshots. I think Carl got caught more then he needed to when he tried to swing back hard himself rather then just throwing some chuffing shots in, left himself open when he was at times relatively effective blocking when staying compact inside. Quigg definitely hurt him but I do think Frampton shots slowed Quigg down a bit near the end of the 11th also, wasn't as one sided as sky commentary was making out.
I think he actually out landed Frampton across 12 rounds if punch stats are you thing. Of course that could hypothetically all have been in one round so it needs context. Anyway, congrats - you called this one right.
