Can't see Geale going 8 to be honest . Still at least Daniel has the balls to get in there unlike a lot of these other 'top' middleweights. Daniel is good enough to keep him honest or so it would seem. I said that about Macklin.

Personally I want to see GGG KO Sturm. That'd be sweet.

GGG v Sturm? Unlikely to happen but you can see Sturm nail Sam soliman if you like. That should be good.

You make your points very well CST80, even though I can't fully agree with you. Personally I don't think Geale has a chance, but Geale is very fit and always lasts 12 rounds, plus he has an underrated defence, but even if he does go the distance he will hardly win a round.
Maybe the long break between fights will hurt GGG, but he is so much better than Geale it should hardly matter.

I honestly don't know where you are coming from with this outpoint/outskill bs, guys. Even in the ams GGG destroyed Geale where fighters rely more on their ability to score points.

I think Geale needs to use his feet - he does have great footwork.
Needs to stick and move, stick and move.

Golovkin does cut off the ring well, so when he does catch Geale - Geale needs to give back as much to get out of there, then go back to stick and moving.

I think Geale can beat Golovkin, but he'll need to do everything right.

 

Its possible. I dont think it likely either, but Geale is at a level where you cant give him the "L" without actually holding the bout. He is a seasoned pro, and knows what he is getting into and will have a game plan. Judging from his stay-busy fight he will be in condition. (if people can stay motivated and get up for rust-removal bouts I generally give them benefit of doubt that they will also come to big fight prepared.)

It should be a good fight as long as this WBA/Fletcher nonsense doesnt derail it.

i seen geale only fight once tho so i cant say much.
but he didnt look like anything special vs barker.. obviously he lost

but i did see his skills and maybe he just had an off night.
