RJJ not allowed to wear Grant gloves... is being forced Everlast ones... Jones not happy... went to Trinidad's hotel room earlier today to ask him if he can wear Grant to co-ordinate his glove colour with his shorts.
lemme get this straight, he wants Grants Gloves to match the color of his Fraternity? I bet the guy has matching underwear too like the mormons. Secret Society nonsense...
man, the guy speaks and reads straight English unlike Pacquiao. Pay a f'n lawyer to read the contract to you. Now I really want Roid to get starched.
Regardless of whether the gloves play a role in this or not, he was just interviewed with Max and he looks like he's back
ha ha - The HBO team have been banging on about this glove issue all through this Karmazin fight.. Showing absolutely no interest in it at all
Roach reads English....and if the contract is in English and Pacquiao KNOWS it is going to be in English, seems to me that he would have had someone there to read it FOR him. Point is, don't make excuses for Pacquiao while criticizing Jones for the SAME THING. As for it being an excuse, it won't be if he loses. He already said it was about representation and color coordination.
Jones SHOULD have better paid lawyers, contract readers etc. compared to Pacquiao. Have you seen Pacquiao's outfit that represented him at the time? They were filipino based lawyers who didn't care for the best interests of their fighter. Finkel and Company came in and cleaned that up. That's what American Lawyers do. I wouldn't trust filipino management to walk my own dog. (and I'm filipino btw) And by the way, GLoves excuse is still legit for Pacquiao. His KO rate with it has been pretty good minus the MAB fight. Roach is his trainer. He just happened to look over the contract a week or two before the fight. My point is that Jones SHOULD have people to look out for this sort of nonsense. Especially after the Pacquiao-Morales I glovesgate fiasco.:deal
In other words, it's an excuse for your favorite fighter and no one else. Pacquiao's KO rate is good regardless. He has had to wear those gloves that he wore vs Morales how many times? Once? He didn't KO the fighter than one time and it proves that the gloves dramatically change his power? Come on.... Why should one rich guy have better lawyers than another rich one? Sorry, that doesn't make sense. Millionaires can afford good lawyers. All of them. If Pacquiao didn't know that his lawyers didn't have his best interest in mind, that is troublesome.
