Donkey is the biggest fraud in boxing but he can punch very hard (albeit not as hard as many will have you believe) and Fury looked like dog**** in his comeback fight and it's not like he only had the inactivity to overcome either. He ballooned up to 400lbs for goodness sake, went on the mother of all coke and booze binges, and was battling depression and suicidal thoughts. It's not like he was ticking over in the gym and keeping himself in decent shape. He looked like **** against Seferi and now he's facing Pianeta who was widely regarded as one of Wlad's worst title challengers when the Italian was in his prime. Fury needs a few warm up fights with better opponents than the likes of CW Seferi and the ghost of Pianeta's shot grandfather. There are prospects with less than 5 fights I'm not sure this incarnation of Tyson can beat.
If an old Wlad was ready after a year and a half off for AJ, then Tyson who's had a warm up and stopped a guy who's never been stopped..... is ready for Wilder. If AJ gets full credit for Wladdy..... then Wilder deserves full credit. Sowwey.
Really? What did Wlad balloon up to with his depression and drug abuse after losing to Fury?? Man I never thought Wlad would get himself back into the ring again after losing to Fury he went off the rails big time..
He was decrepit coming off of a series of injuries, it all balances out, a coked up fat young Fury is equatable to a hobbled doddering old Wladimir.
Intriguing fight. I think it'd be foolish to say hand on heart who would win this, Fury looks like he'll be in excellent shape by that time if it happens so he'd be able to box rings around Wilder BUT Wilder has proven he can take a decent shot and get back into it... so Fury may be unlikely to stop him. The trouble with not stopping Wilder is that so long as he's up he seems to be able to move and swing huge punches, he has a huge reach and huge power and while Fury has a huge heart - all the heart in the world doesn't help a man who is unconscious. I think Fury would have to play a more aggressive game and try and spark Wilder out as banking on 12 rounds without getting clipped is a big ask, though if anyone is going to pull that off... Fury is.
Really? I can't really remember, popped his calf from memory but nothing else major.. Nothing like your boi ripping his bicep off the bone throwing windmills....... Lets be honest comparing a young coke head going off the rails to one of the most professional boxers in history is almost MVC like in trolling tbh... If this fight is made it will be a one sided beat down because we no Fury is no where near 100% and to win (which I think he will) he will need to be 100%..
Probably not fully up to his Wlad beating level, but still enough to beat wilder Fury at his best, has Very low level power, but he had much more skill, (defensive movement, and counter punching) and size/reach than Wilder Fury still beats Wilder even at his current “ not quite fully prepared “ status. Fury is on another level entirely than wilder
