This thread isn't about calling out glass jaws and other bs. Knockouts and knockdowns, punch resistance, defense, toughness is an important aspect of the sport and shouldn't be ignored just because some people like to troll. Pretty much anything on the subject whether positive or negative just please no top ten glass jaw lists or stuff like that. If anyone wants to have a serious discussion then it is welcome here. I'd like to begin by saying I think being overly defensive can be counter productive sometimes. Even though they get criticized for being punching bags, to me it seems that fighters that brace for impact instead of trying to avoid punches at all costs take a better hit because they have good footing and better foundation. Is it their approach to getting hit what makes them "iron chinned" or is it their iron chin that allows them to fight this way? There are probably some genetic freaks out there that can simply take a good shot but I think a case can be made for strategy and approach too.
