    Round 6

Kuzmin is committing to Karpency's body, gaining entry with a 1-2 banging on the forearms and driving Karpency into the ropes forcefully, then hooking below the elbows. Karpency in a lot of pain. Kuzmin is leading with right hands, needling them into the sideburns of Karpency. Big right hand doubled up on the beard of Karpency and he is sat upon his rear in the corner. Still trash-talking while on his butt and struggling to hoist up his fat self, Karpency himself doesn't seem to believe his bluster and sighs, accepting most of the count before the ref waves in the negative.

    KO6!

The Bullfrog did as well as could be expected considering what a tub of lard he was. I don't remember him ever looking quite that obese. He was like Chauncey Welliver level. According to BoxRec he was 226¾ which isn't even a career high for him (5th highest, actually) - but, yuck. His muffin top had its own recursive little muffin tops.

They announce Vargas vs. Vazquez as the main event, though, so yeah no Micah vs. Boyeaux - seems they just aren't going to acknowledge it. (though in fairness I haven't been listening to every second of the commentary; they very well might've earlier)

The little boricua preparing to sing the national anthems was eyeing up Diamante's gross super-dreadlock hungrily, like she wants to just bypass his dick and penetrate herself with that long clotted mass of frizzy hair. :eeek: No accounting for taste.

Don't blink; Vazquez in his two stoppage defeats (both at lighter weight limits) has been taken out in under 2 and under 5 minutes respectively.

    Round 1

Vargas is snapping the quick southpaw jab at the face of Vazquez. Vargas is checking the left jab of Vazquez on his right palm, turning it out in time whenever Vazquez fires to catch it and simultaneously resetting with his feet to always be squared up a quarter-turn past Vazquez, forcing him to constantly make adjustments to compensate his stance. Quick dart-in combos by Vargas, ducking under a counter right from Vazquez. Vargas reaches in and hurts Vazquez with a line drive left from a crouch. The crowd reacts loudly but Vazquez doesn't appear that hurt, just sort of fished around with his rear foot, unsteady for a moment before planting it with a mild splash. Vargas is targeting Vazquez's body now with lefts but staying inside, attacking in serpentine fashion. Very quick feet and hands by Vargas. Vazquez is backed into the ropes and feinting with the left jab to hold Vargas off. Vargas is doubling the right jab up high and charging in with a left on the belt line. Big looping left and right hook by Vargas stepping in. Nice short counter right just before the bell from Vazquez, taking advantage of Vargas having swung himself a little off-kilter.

    10-9 Vargas

    Round 2

Vargas is jabbing in and then bobbing his neck & head to his left to surf underneath the counter rights of Vazquez. Vargas standing just outside of Vazquez's reach and baiting with the jab, then flashing a quick 1-2 or left uppercut scraping the sternum of Vazquez before pulling out and dropping into a yogic "warrior 2" pose. Vazquez steps in and tries forcing an exchange and pays for it, hit with a right jab and chopping left forearm across the brow. Vargas is sticking in the right jab, leaving it embedded in the side of Vazquez's neck, and then chopping with the left hand before using the impact to buoy himself outside to reset, or clinging to Vazquez like plastic wrap to catch his breath. Loud smacking right hook on the jaw by Vargas. Another, with a short left hand follow-up. Vazquez hurt very badly, wobbling, but still punching back. Vargas unloads on him. Vargas is throwing rapid flurries all over Vazquez, who clinches. Ref orders a break and Vazquez is hurling haymakers frantically to show he's still in the fight and forestall a towel or ref stoppage.

10-9 Vargas, very nearly a 10-8 even lacking a KD.

    20-18 Vargas

    Round 3

Vargas is opening up on Vazquez, nailing the bigger man across the ring & into the ropes with high axing left hands and quick right hooks. Vazquez is getting his neck jacked violently in several directions but hanging in there, bouncing in place, bending and straightening his legs to get his bearings. In a desperate ploy, Vazquez turns southpaw and starts fishing with right jabs. Back to orthodox after circling a couple of rotations with Vargas. Southpaw again. Big left hand by Vargas. Vazquez, now orthodox again, is slapping with left hooks on the body and lineup of Vargas. Irked by Vazquez still being in front of him, and throwing leather no less, Vargas begins to act more defensively, quickly ducking and receding behind a flash jab.

    10-9 Vargas

    Round 4

Vargas is ducking and weaving under the left jab of Vazquez and dusting his face with light hummingbird combos. Vargas is stepping counterclockwise and dropping into nearly a runner's lunge, making Vazquez reach down at the very least, if not over-extending himself across the breadth of the middle of the ring, missing either way. Vargas has eased up on the gas pedal, maybe realizing that Vazquez won't be so easy to force the KO against, now boxing more defensively but still pretty easily outclassing Vazquez during 90% of the active fight clock - but in certain moments, Vargas is caught off balance while circling by the ropes and Vazquez makes the most of it, banging him with left hooks and chopping rights.

    10-9 Vargas, closer

    40-36 Vargas
