wah, they fought in 07 as welterweights, right?
Now they're both Lt Mids - good chance for Margarito to redeem himself and beat Williams this time around.
    Like their next fight...

hmmm, its not conceivable to you for two fighters to fight again, but in a different weightclass?

I can't speak for them but I think they might also be trying to say that at this point Paul Williams vs. Antonio Margarito is NOT a dream fight. It was cool in 07, but neither guy has looked particularly good in a while.

You should of emphasised the 'rematch' part. It looked like you didn't know wtf you were talking about

I'd like to see a rematch, even now. These guys styles will always blend well for a good fight

The whole point of making the thread was based off feeling soooo ****in' clever over "coming up with" "SPAM" punches.

    See it all the time.

    mr. clever....

actually, the inspiration of this thread was from watching the Rios/Antillon fight - in principle, two pressure-fighters slugging it out.... When the commentators said "Fights like these will bring back the sport of boxing" is when Margo & Williams popped in my head and thought, how come these guys havent gone head to head in the Light Mids yet? They'd fought each other once before....

Considering that both Margarito & Williams are at the eve of their careers, i figured it'd be a great fight for both of them to shine, regardless of who wins and loses. Both are there to be hit, both are there to hit. Neither of them have determinable KO power (hence "spam" punchers) so the fight should go on for some time. Neither quits either. Whatever the case, would be a great Give n' Take fight for the Light Middleweight division, and one to retire off of....

If the fight already happened it can't be a dream fight.
