Depends on the person making the list Even after proving he can't defeat himself, there will always be some that think others could have. Even cloning himself would have little effect on that one They would say "the clone is small, can't box, and only fought against a guy that beat old people ready for a Nursing Home." So it goes...
I tend to agree with the chuckle there, Steve. Getting people to fight against that which they know so well would always prove difficult.... if not impossible. Thus my reasoning for my pondering regarding your own response - doesn't Duran know himself at least enough to come out with a draw? When one looks at the matter seriously, I can't see any other outcome!
I can't say, as I've no idea what you have been drinking You must have drank something if you can come out with a concrete fact that Duran would somehow beat Duran... when "EXACT" duplicates are being considered. Just how do you suggest that gets accomplished?
Duran doesn't really beat Duran. But the judges would pick a victor. They would find a way. Hence the SD.
How can you be so smug? If Duran doesn't really beat Duran, we must have a draw? You know, from all of your vast experience, a draw is still possible in boxing
I'm not being smug. Yes I know a draw is possible. Who cares, really? The whole thread is silly anyway.
I was only having some fun with you, Steve. Simple fact of the matter is we can't really pick "winners" in this thread! While the concept is cool, it doesn't go much beyond a concept that is imposssible to deal with. Of course we'll likely see posts on here that attempt to puff it up... but "silly" is really a good term for it.
