Exactly. Ifilm is a must watch for me nowadays, & big Koogs & his mate do enjoable interviews... hell big Koogs even managed to get a smile out of Scotty Harrison, an almost impossible task- I dont think I have ever seen scotty smile in ANY interview in all these years, honestly!

 

His mate James Helder works at the Gym i use, he's a Gym instructor and is a MC and has been doing a bit of training with Lenny Daws and a lad i know.

 

as for the interview, of course its fun to watch Hearn countering ******s verbal assault in style,

BUT

I dont see why Ediie had to indulge in Burns bashing throughout the interview. there was no need to bring Ricky into it, it was plain as day what Frank was upto when he bashed Froch, but Eddie was acting a bit like a Burns hater in the interview, so he thinks Froch is better than Burns, fair enough. No need for the over the top "Burns better than Froch? COME ON!" shaking the head stuff, cheap shotting Burns.

Leave Ricky out of it FFS:-(

PS, can see Frank getting all purple faced when he watches Kugan indulging in a bit of in-house banter & tapping Eddies cheek playfully with his mic at the end... I wonder whose side Kugan in on

In all seriousness, both guys do a fine job. I was going to go over to big Kugan at the Burns weigh in to ask for a pic with him, but a certain scotty was in town & mulling around, so fogot all about it being all scotty starstruck

aye he was trying to get away the whole time, but fair play to him he didnt start challenging everyone to a fight when the fans held him back, so in my book thats Scotty acting like a little angel

TBH, I was wondering the whole time what Ricky was thinking about Harrison after everything thats went on in the past, i.e when Ricky was a young lad it was rumoured that team scotty wouldnt even let him spar with the teak tough tartan terror, he wasnt regarded as deserving enough...

Thats how I think this fight will happen. Nelson & Burns have had their noses put out of joint by scotty & father in the past, they have never earned the Harrisons respect. Im sure deep down that Ricky Burns & Billy Nelson want to settle a few old scores, this one is personal. If scotty escapes being banged up again? This fight will happen, & it will be a belter.

People didnt understand my thread about writing scotty off if he fights Burns, but I sometimes forget people arent steeped in the history if you know what I mean. Theres a helluva lot more to this fight than a mere payday for both men, & thats the triple truth!

Quite like Hearn. He seems like a good bloke, think he actually cares about his fighters. He's the kind of guy who you could talk to to sort out any problems.

 

This is boxing my good man, & check out primadonnakools post, no14 in this thread. sums the man up perfectly. They are all snake oil salesmen, Eddie & his rivals. the minute you start believing that Eddie treats fighters like he treats his own daddy? I remember his dad, & eddie has that twinkle in his eye, cheeky grin, salesman patter & the dashing good looks to pull in the punters, so I dont actually blame you for swallowing it all up, cos its hard not to!

Barry hearn never landed Chris Eubank a defining fight, & Eddie Hearn has just followed in daddys footsteps. Blood is always thicker than water, & the minute Eddie Hearn came out with that whopper about his fighters, I had to laugh.

Why? Cos I have never met anyone who really treats business associates like family. Round 1 I score for Frank ******, at least he doesnt kid on Ricky Burns is like a son to him:deal

 

Definitely. He seems very savvy, knows that the fans appreciate honesty (or at least what seems like honesty), and that we can generally see through the type of bull**** VVarren spouts.
