Had Pac winning by stoppage in the middle rounds. :!:

JMM deserves tons of credit for the effort he put forth fighting at a higher weight when just about all of the boxing world gave him virtually no shot against Pac.

And yet again, he has created a polarizing rift amongst fan and supporters of boxing.

I didn't expect Marquez to get any decisions (deserved or not). I expected it to be competitive to a point, due to styles. But, not THAT damn competitive.

Props to Marquez. He shocked the world last night.

Well, we will have to respectfully disagree on the first two matches. I wouldn't have complained if either had gone the way of JMM; though on my score cards I had Pac winning the first and JMM winning the second by a very narrow margin. I had the third fight at a pretty solid 116-112 for Marquez.

I was hoping that Marquez would win but I thought he would get stopped. I was wrong about how he would be completely outmatched but I wasn't wrong when I said he would have to knock out Pacquiao to win.

I personally thought this would be the first time Pacquiao decisively beat JMM.

I thought Marquez won by a point in each of the first two fights.. but thought Pacquiao would lay a spectacular ass whooping on Marquez this time around.

I was wrong... and once AGAIN, I had Marquez up by one round... giving Pac-Man the benefit of the doubt, i would've had it at best, a draw.

yeah i ****ed up bigtime predicting an early rounds TKO.

Never came close to it did I.

I think JMM won the fight just by still being on his feet at the end of it, and he was robbed of what would be the biggest upsets in modern day boxing.

It may be that I thought so much of Pacman and so little of JMM before this 3rd fight, that seeing Pacman kept at bay like that was a shock to my system that perhaps I overcompensated for what JMM was doing in the fight??. I dunno. Me and my mates all thought JMM was robbed.

The whole promotion was called into question when I watched the undercard at work.

Prescott nearly failed to follow the script too...he was never supposed to win,and yet he nearly did. Id like to see a rematch of that one:deal

    I got it wrong bigtime.

I thought Pac would be too powerful and get the stoppage.

I am sickened by the "result", had Marquez 4 Rounds up.

I'm a fan of both Pacquiao and Marquez but I was expecting more from JMM in that fight. I think Manny did fair better against JMM than the last 2 fights they had. Only there was no knockdown this time but I do think it wasn't really enough to be the decisive winner between the 2.

Anyhow, I predicted JMM to win because I didn't like the fact that Manny seemed to have overlooked JMM for this fight and that JMM was very focused preparing for this fight. Coupled with Manny's uninspiring training and JMM's hellacious training. That made me conclude that JMM's gonna knock him out in 11.
Manny did good IMO but it wasn't good enough to decisively win. I myself was annoyed with those easy knock out predictions (both fans and haters generally were predicting it) as if they forgot what happened in the 1st 2 fights.

No matter how much Manny has improved since their last meeting (or the right hand claims w/c is lol), it's about their fighting styles that made him struggle against JMM. JMM is stylistically nightmare for Manny - I kept on saying this before and I'll stand by this even if they do a 4th fight w/c I'm not interested anymore.

I won't be eating my crow based on my stand :hat
But felt bad for those fans that had high hopes for Manny and I also felt bad for JMM that honored the mexicans for not getting what he deserved.

I was rooting for Manny to win to save the lucrative Pac-May fight but I think JMM deserved the win

Those odds were about spot on. The oddsmakers take into account the possibilites and probablities of a fighter getting robbed, and they knew under the circumstances they were quite high here, thus the 9-1 odds.

It's Pac's off night. He probably quarreled w/ his wife the night before.
Marquez performed well at a higher weight. The roids/peds must be effective.
Thanks to Heredia. Eat your heart out, Conte and Ariza.

But Pac still won by points.

He shocked the idiots that thought this fight was a mismatch. I couldn't believe Vegas odds put it 10:1. I never thought this was a sure win for Pacquiao. People should put their heads in the proper place. This was way off. :-(
