Either Southpaw(Martinez or PW), crafty fighters and strong, maybe they can really impose themselves on Pac!! Maybe Winky Wright, i am surprised he hasn't voiced a fight with Pac, where is Winky anyway??

Berto is a young, undefeated fighter. Nothing wrong with fighting the young ones.

I actually am rooting for berto against fernandez. With a win from berto, he can improve is name as a fighter, thus making arum consider this fight.

Let's face it, arum is a greedy, 80 year old SOB. All he wants is to have profitable fights from pac.

Berto must win to have his chance at pac.

Wow. There was a time when you will be called insane putting this match-ups up, particularly that with Martinez/Williams.

Mayweather is not in the choices. He doesn't have a urge and on vacation. GTFO with your drug testing BS until your boy comes back.

wow, are you kidding me? 41% for Martinez/Williams? Some people voted sarcastically, right? If those 41% of the votes are in all honestly, then it just goes to show how incredible Pacquiao's accomplishments are that people actually believe that such a small man could beat talented and big guys such as Martinez or Williams.

Either that or people really want to see Pacquiao lose

If he actually beat either of those guys...I'd probably become a legitimate *******

Berto - Probably get Hattoned early on account of his bad chin and rotten stamina. Last fight drew a pathetic 974 in attendance.

Mosley - Tough guy with power and can probably have decent stamina if no drug tests are implemented but definitely past prime. Pac probably puts a beating on him and the corner stops it before the 10th.

Cotto - no need to see him run around the ring to avoid a firefight once he gets rocked again.

Bradley - no power and very average chin and resistance to body shots. Pac should be able to walk through and close him out within 6 rounds.

JMM - past prime fighter that is already fighting beyond his optimal weight at 135. At 140 Pac should be able to walk through his punches and beat him up with ease. I wouldn't recommend JMM take this fight unless he's hard up for cash because he'll end up KTFO. His claim to fame was his two close fights against Pac and he should leave things be. Marquez can ride off into the sunset and retire if he manages to beat a highly motivated Katsidis.

Martinez - quick, elusive southpaw with size advantage. This could be a good fight but if Sergio gasses out at any point at 154 Pac will clobber him with high volume punching.

Williams - Most entertaining fight of the bunch because he doesn't run and likes to throw lots of punches ala Margarito. He'll probably end up looking like Margarito in a decent firefight but will likely make it to the bell. Tony was hitting this guy at will and blocking most of his punches so no secret here what numbers Pac will register on Paul's face. Expect the punisher to get punished.

By the looks of things, the stars are lining up for Mosley vs. Pac. Despite many disregarding Mosley, the man is still a top dog at 147. His last bout against Mora was at 154 and Mosley has never looked good at 154.

Okay your analysis is **** because Mr Arum is not trying to make the best math up... He wants whoever can make him the most $$$$$

So thinking realistically who has the better names? and what can be marketed to the masses?

Mosley PAC... Moseley brings a big name to the table and not much competition so this would be a great way for Arum to cash in... Although team pac might get critizised for taking this fight showing how mosely has fought in his last 2 fights. This doesn't really have anything to market to the masses not a good story.. like david vs goliat in margo.

Cotto VS pac Again Cotto brings a decent name and his recent fight he was victorious and look pretty sharp maybe it was the not so decent competition but Cotto did good.. Its an In house fight so if it doesn't make that much money Arum still gets a big cut... If the fight is at 154 and Pacquiao defend his new title it might be a nice little match up.. It has a good story to market COtto redemption or REVENGE.... Arum has already stated many time JCC JR is Cotto's next fight in New york so cotto might be busy.

Marquez VS Pac again Marquez brings a huge Mexican following and seeing how pac Margo just made 1.5 PPV buys Arum might want another mexican with a big name... Marquez does have 2 controversial fights with pacquiao and there was no clear winner in any by a large margin drawing and winnning by a single point... Marquez even at an old age of 36 gave pac problems, a marquez of 38 could still prove to be a great fight if Marquez takes out Katsidis first.... This fight bring a good story, 3rd and final chapter+mexicans=$$$$ for arum. This fight can happen at 140 or a catchweight of 144 and each man can come in at the weight they feel comfortable at.

So realistically the only options are

    Marquez
    Cotto
    Mosely

I could also see Berto being a very Viable option and i will put him ahead of any other 140LB.

Arum already took out Cotto from the sweepstakes because Chavez Jr will fight Cotto then probably Margarito for a rematch.

Marquez is a no because Golden Boy. The middleweights are out because middleweights.

It's down to Mosley, Bradley-Alexander and Berto.
