Floyd's nose was bleeding cuz he was sick

Cotto(e) did better since he wasn't weight drained like in the emmanuel fight

Also cotto(e) had a better trainer as well

The cotto(e) that fought Floyd is > the cotto(e) that fought emmanuel

but yup, like the pee pee man, you get better and stronger and more solid with age just like all those big baseball players

And people say Marquez is roided? Pac looks bigger in that picture. AND the scales don't lie, PEDcquiao was bigger on fight night! Look at PEDcquiao's head and neck. And look how he naturally looked in the Philippines. KTFO6!

he was faster. Two counterpunchers and the faster and bigger guy won.

Size played a huge factor but the one variable that really destroyed JMM was skill. The bigger guy shouldnt look like Neo dodging bullets against someone as praised as JMM. Period. If Floyd fought Wladimir he still wouldnt get dominated 12-0.

exactly, with how much people are eating out of the pee pee man's AZZ is uncalled for. Floyd would've beaten Vlad

Had nothing to do with any size advantage. Marquez was a bigger LW and JLW than Floyd ever was. Marquez just couldn't hit Floyd, and Floyd landed at will pretty much on Marquez.

Marquez just hates taking the lead. He looked better in the 3rd Pacquiao fight than he did in the Fedchenko fight RIGHT after, if Marquez was this new killer he should've been able to whup Fedchenko but the fight was awful because Fedchenko fought cautious unlike how Manny fights.

This post is ignoring so many blatant things and is plain simplistic...styles make fights.
Marquez is not an offensive fighter, he fights off the back foot and feeds off aggressive opponents, he counters at close quarters and can go toe to toe looking for openings. That's his style, that's the style he is skilled at.

Mayweather is also defensive but in a different way, uses his reach and counters at a distance. He prefers boxers and a slower pace because at a slower pace and with his jab he is able to time fast counters and dictate the pace.

Put those 2 things together and you have a style mismatch. The defensive guy with the longer reach, the size advantage, the weight advantage is going to win when his opponent is forced to be the aggressor, something he isn't even good at to begin with.

    Floyd's reach is 72", Marquez 66.5

Floyd is 1.73, Marquez is 1.7 in height

Marquez 142, Floyd 146 - you can bet the fight night weight difference was substantilally bigger

And factor in Marquez jumped 2 divisions for the first time and you're telling me size had nothing to do with it?

In terms of style and size Floyd had every single advantage and he knew it, it's why he took the fight, Floyd is a master of knowing what opponents can give him trouble and what opponents he can deal with, there's no doubt about that

I agree. Not only do you get bigger and stronger with age, you recover faster too.

That's why Marquez could have a 4 month long training camp. I give this thread an A+ for accuracy.
