Of course, not a problem dude. Anyway, to change the subject slightly do you think Khan's future lies with Dean Powell?
Do you think he can help hone Khan's skills well enough to get him to where he wants to be? I think it's become flagrant Khan needs a lot of work on his defensive skills. Can Powell do the job?
I'm prob the wrong person to ask I was mightily impressed at the weekend, personally I don't think theres a trainer in the world who can iron out Khans faults. Trying to teach Khan to infight after years of bouncing in and out is going to be like trying to teach Bruno to clinch.
i dont think he nesscierally needs to learn to infight, maybe just learn how to keep opponents from getting close in, using his size and reach to keep them at range.
I was impressed too Jeff & have said so on here. I just think he needs to improve that defense if he is to really make it as a legitimate champion.
Khans still 21 as well, remember this. Jeff, PM, I WILL FIGHT YOU! Also no doubt if Khan was in a weaker division he would already be a world champ. he is just in a **** hot division. Manny Pac, Guzman, Marquez, Diaz, Diaz, Diaz, Campbell, Katsidis, Romanov, Casamayor...............
These are all valid points but the fact is, for whatever reason, it's over between Harrison & Khan so we now need to look to the future.
I honestly can't get my head around sensible posters being impressed with Khan. I was distinctly underwhelmed, it was a step down in performance. Admittedly against a different style that emphasised his weaknesses, but I didn't expect such huge flaws. The signs were there when in their infinite wisdom they use Fewkes as preperation for Gomez :?
Hmm. I'll re-watch it again. Hopefully I'll see something I missed. I'd really like the kid to do well, and to prove people wrong. I like to go with the ugly ducklings that hardcore boxing fans cast aside. Calzaghe now Khan :yep
TFFP and Terry.... Were you more impressed with this performance or the Limond one because these are the only fights that Khan has actually taken a couple against opponents who came to win? Had Earl not been caught cold IMO we would have seen a similer performance as saturday. I think thats what I was impressed with. Terry like your point about Enzo C might actually be a good move. I don't think Mcgirts the man for it anymore.
No disrespect Jeff but to be perfectly frank I expected better from you as well. Really didn't appreciate the sly dig remark. As soon as I sensed I'd upset you (albeit unintentionally) I apologised and yet you just respond with a smilie. Surprised you didn't just drop me a PM in the circumstances - you have gone out of your way to initiate enough with me in the past. Disappointing ALL things considered. Sure you know what they are.
