Larry Holmes loses to Michael Spinks.

Marvin Hagler "loses" to Leonard (not that that was a legitimate win for Leonard in my book)

Frazier UD an under 30 Ali

    Douglas/Tyson

    Holyfield/Tyson

    Berbick/Thomas

To be completely honest, I was pretty shocked Duran lost to Hearns at all, much less the early ko.

Foreman destroying Frazier so quickly had to be hard to believe at the time.

Basilio beating Robinson would be another one.
Jerry Quarry beating Shavers. The way he beat him. Sparked him in 1 round.

    Salido and Lopez defeating Loma.
Also love sum good Judah scrap but bro, how tf did he lose to Baldomir...
Also Marquez, not beating him, more like I didn't expect him KOing the Pac-man.

Louis beating Schmeling in the rematch this fast would likely rise some brows.

Good pick. Quarry was far more seasoned than Year 3 Lyle, but they both just fought Larry Middleton and whilst Quarry earned a relatively hard-fought if wide decision, Ron stopped him in three.

Leonard-Duran II is hard to top, but in my lifetime I’d say Pacquiao-Hatton. That was simply jaw dropping.

Maybe best of all would be that a Human Being like Larry Holmes could make it to his 70’s without being straight up murdered. How his parents didn’t strangle him in the crib is beyond all cosmic understanding of the universe as we know it. At least don’t teach him to talk FFS.

It was Monumental. After the Ali and Ellis fights Frazier was being touted as perhaps the greatest since Joe Louis.

Louis was an avatar of vengeance on that night, lazer focused, superbly boxing in his mid range, seeing everything, and landing mean mean shots on every opening presented to him

That was a fair question to ask at that point.
