Real talk about Campbell vs Funeka

This was a real good fight. A little bit of controversy around it but at the end of the day its just a good fight that we should enjoy. Alot better than the 2 fights before

Campbell ****ing punished Funeka in those early rounds. Deadly body shots and nice shots to the head too and good defense. He is a good fighter.

Funeka is a good fighter too. Good handspeed good reach and good footwork. The rounds he won were in general closer than the rounds Campbell won but as long as you win the round that's what matters. But i feel like any of rounds 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 could have gone to Campbell on one of the judge's cards and I'm sure the official scorecards reflect that.

You really have to hate Campbell to give this one to Funeka. I was trying to give rounds to Funeka, if not I would have had it 115-111 with round 8 or 9 also going to the champ.

I don't see how you can have Funeka winning 8 rounds. Impossible. And that's what he needed for a win. The rounds Nate won, he won clearly. Most rounds Funeka won were really close and its not surprising to see a score like 115-111. Funeka didn't really dominate 1 round.

Funeka took it hard, like Mthlane when he lost to Nonito. These south africans take their hearts to the ring.

Campbell gives good interviews man

 

Funeka almost got knocked out in round 2. I think you mean round 3. Giving Funeka a victory in this fight by any margin is unreasonable. A draw is the worst you should give Campbell, and that is really if you're wearing Funeka goggles.

 

anyways i'm not gonna argue scores with you cause to me Campbell won that fight hands down but still Funeka is a good fighter and it was a good fight.

It would be interesting to see the judges' scorecards round by round

 

maybe Campbell vs Guzman at 140 could make some money
