Molina deserved to be DQ'd. Schorle was letting him get away with everything. Good karmic justice.

Was about to point this out myself. Kirkland generates a lot more money and interest than Molina would

    Atrociously irresponsible line of thinking.

Agree. 'Thinking' is probably giving more credit than is deserved.

Didn't Juan Diaz fight at home a lot...and isn't he from Texas? I thought people would have learned from the Malignaggi / Diaz fight in TX.

This fight has nothing to do with Texas and everything to do with the promotor. The ref was from Cali, all but one judge was from Texas.

He makes very good points. It's clear that Kirkland is not a very good fighter. As soon as they put him in with someone who can punch, he'll get knocked. Ishida knocked him, and a 40 year old Shane Mosley would put him to shame too.

It was a good fight but the ref was not that unfair. Rules are rules even though it was not politically correct. Also, most ref would have deducted points from Molina for constant holding. Kirkland vs Molina will happen again but I think Kirkland needs to get his tittle shot first.

I wouldn't mind Kirkland taking that title off of K9 and giving Molina his first title shot.

I didn't see much improvement in his defensive game at all. James needs a lot of work all the way around the board. He's got the tools...... They just aren't even close to being refined or polished simply because he doesn't use them... Until he gets a trainer who works on his skill-set...or lack thereof, we won't see James progress pass the level unless he gets lucky.

There is a difference between a close, competitive fight vs a one sided robbery... Not that this was a robbery. But it was on its way..... Dan is on point in this one. He's one of many very angry fans and for a levity reason.

Checkout his defense in the Vera and Julio fights and then look at the Angulo fight, then look at the fight last night.

He has grown heavily with regard to head movement, rolling punches, catching them, and upper body movement.

Is it top class? Hell no. But he has actually improved.
