REAL TALK regarding Jorge Arce/Darchinyan

A year ago, I think Arce would have had a shot. Vic's gonna ruin him.

 

I was referring to the way he runs his mouth and taunts his opponents in the ring, although I'd love to see him stick his chin out like Mayorga :yep

People keep saying just because A beats B and B beats C, it doesn't mean that A beats C (which is true) and that styles make fights, but what is it in Arce's style that would lead anyone to believe he'll have luck against Darchinyan? Darchinyan has had the most trouble against great counterpunchers. That's not exactly Arce's forte.

 

it is a pick em fight, both styles defently set for a good fight to watch or atleast fun, the kicker is can Vic stop Arce? and does Vic have a soft button? time will tell, I think I am leaning towards Arce in this fight, but being realistic here Vic should win this one rather easily.

There is a bit of a misconception about Vic being arrogant, alot of the so called interviews printed have statements etc that Vics english simply isn't to a standard to even say some of the words let alone know what they mean.

Another thing, when Vic was going to defend his belt in Sydney and the fight ended up being cancelled/delayed in the last couple of days alot of fans who post on the Kostya Tszyu website had already booked flights from other states etc, so instead they just had a bbq and get together for the night, Vic got word of it and and also went to the BBQ and stayed for hours drinking etc with the boys and also considers them all true freinds and many of them have were given his personal phone number to keep in contact, how many other true world champs would do this?

I have met Vic and he is a genuine laugh about guy with a great sense of humour, he actually enjoys people recognising him wanting a photo and a hand shake etc and is only too happy to share time with the fans.

 

I think Vic wins this. Vic's on the way up Arce has been on the slide for the last few fights. I think the momentum is with Vic.

 

I hate rain on your parade but he lost his fight for all the belts against Cory Spinks.

Yes he beat Forrest but he lost to Cory Spinks.
