realistic analysis of Wladimir Klitschko, not nuthaggers and no haters!!!

If you're telling me that Wlad/Vitali Klit has superior hand speed to Larry Holmes, Riddick Bowe, Shannon Briggs or Lennox Lewis then we need to start a separate thread on this. Not to mention Gulota(maybe stretching it a little there but Gulota's hand speed(in his prime) is comparable to either Klit.

 

WTF have you seen when he''s actually in a fight and has to throw more then 3 right hands in a round??

 

Bottom Line:

The following big, tall HWs have faster hands than the current Klits and would give these guys hell in their primes...

1) Riddick Bowe
2) Larry Holmes
3) Shannon Briggs
4) Lennox Lewis
5) Andrew Gulota

Please watch actual film on these fighters before commenting. This is getting ridiculous. I really like Wlad and Vitali as fighters but the thread starter wants objectivity...that's what he's getting.:good

 

Perhaps when Shannon was but a mere 225lbs'er, but not in his 240's was he ever faster than Wladimir.

He was fast till he started roiding up and putting on all that excessive bulk.

Sultan Ibragimov couldn't go speed for speed with Wladimir with single or doubles, yet he totally outclassed the **** poor Shannon.

 

Remember I said in their primes...look at some film on these guys before commenting. Wlad throws 1-2 punches at a time. Briggs threw combos...not to mention Holmes, Bowe and Lewis.

I think that he is the best however his decline has begun...although he is clearly better than his competition it takes him too long to end a fight.

 

Good OBJECTIVE analysis. That's all I'm trying to get these guys to see. I'm a Klit fan and I'm simply being objective. The comparisons are getting ridiculous because many people have only followed boxing since they started dominating. People are the same way with Dempsey and The Rock on classic.

 

How can you see that? Also Shannon threw 10-25 very fast shots and then gassed out completely, when Wlad is dangerous in all 12 rounds. He is not slower that Lennox for SUUUUURE!
