Remember, I'm not a Klit hater, I'm just objective. And I wasn't referring to Briggs' stamina...hand speed alone. Lennox is borderline, but Briggs, Holmes, Bowe and Gulota are pretty clear examples.

Did not seemed faster in actual fight. I remember my impression on golota in bowe fight was - tough but slow. I never even considered him as anyone near fast. Also I always considered Lewis much faster then Bowe.

Where Wladimir fails is not his technical ability or his punch variety, it's all the nearly unquantifiable intangibles and mental blocks he has racked up over the years.
    a. I don't look at him as Overly Cautious in the ring, I look at him as Lazy. He seems to fight down to just above the level of his opponent and this makes it very difficult to judge him as a package. When his opponent pushes him he fights back with veracity, when his opponent looks to survive he's content to let him linger past the point of reasonableness. He's so damn good that every fight him recently has been a sparring session that he has been more then happy to entertain instead of finishing it like a good champion should.

    b. His ability to take shots to the chin is rather weak, his ability to continue to fight post KD is actually pretty good and his ability to absorb punishment to the midsection is extremely impressive. Recently he has also shown that he can remain composed after suffering a KD, seemingly strengthening his resolve.

    c. Impressive ability to stick to a game plan for any length of time. He just doesn't break or waver regardless of what his opponent is doing. As I said earlier, I think he has the ability to step up his game if his opponent steps up theirs, but his ceiling is presently unknown.

    d. Very limited ability to fight on the inside, he's not creative and usually content to lean on his opponent until the break. He knows how to throw an inside uppercut..why he doesn't do it is anyone's guess. Personally I think since Sanders he's not comfortable fighting on the inside.

    e. Sets up shots off his jab and left hook successfully but otherwise not very creative in finding holes. Again, this seems to be a mental block more then just an inability, he CAN find holes (I've seen it) and be creative but choses to coast instead against easy opponents.

    f. Superb Ring Generalship, rarely finds himself in corners or on the ropes, keeps opponents in front of him, does not get lead around the ring. Learning when to step in or step out of punches.

    g. Effective at timing opponents and fighting defensively, keep opponents at range, able to keep opponents off balance with jab/left-hook and change direction while moving backwards. equally (possibly more impressive) moving forwards, applying effective pressure even when not throwing punches, being economical with punches, does not fall for feints and traps.

    h. Faster and more Agile then he looks. He's big so he looks like he's in slow motion but he has a very wide step, he can close distance or make distance with ease. He is well coordinated, feels comfortable moving backwards while throwing punches. Has a strong core, can dodge/slip punches effectively. He's tall so ducking underneath the punches of shorter men is mostly out of the question, but he can duck under a tall opponent's punch. Also has a fast left hand when throwing short punches, the right is not so much fast but very difficult to get out of the way of once the left lands. Strong upper body, blocks effectively by raising arms to deflect off shoulder and forearm, was able to block as quickly as Chambers was able to throw.
