Who do you think he should fight next, I think Thurman would be a good fight for both parties.

Berto. Then Mayweather will fight him.

Presumably like every other boxer around the right weight people will scream Pacman or Mayweather.
I think Collazo should try to make a match with Maidana as we know he can be outboxed by a good mover and he has a belt. Collazo is ranked 3rd with the WBA so can't see them having a problem with it.

Malignaggi or Judah in New York? Or Jesus Soto Karrass then one of them two?

Collazo vs Brook is a fight I would like to see but it won't happen obviously, Malignaggi is a good fight.

Collazo isn't that much of a defensive fighter, he gets hit in all of his fights. Maidana would land shots and i think he beats Collazo.

He moves well, I think he would be in with a chance. I agree that Collazo probably wouldn't quite have a win in him but I would be less than shocked if he pulled it off and it could be his last chance at a major belt. He must be on the downslide now one would think but he seems like a much nicer guy than his appearance suggests he might be and I'd like to see him get another roll of the dice.

:nono He is an extremely defensive fighter.

He practices the lost art of mitigating punches, rolling with them or turning his neck the bare minimum needed, letting them only skid and graze. There was a lot of that in the five minutes of action last night; Ortiz rarely put anything directly on him, clean.

Creditable defense shouldn't be limited to making opponents miss outright cutting air or clear glove-on-glove sound-effect blocks.

If a big wide right hook is loaded up by Ortiz and Collazo squirms inside on him and drops his skull, making the few inches' difference between Ortiz's knuckles slamming broadside into his temples and Ortiz's thumb just scraping his ear ...all the while leaving Collazo right in his wheelhouse able to wreak mayhem - that is excellent defense. And we saw that last night.

He has got good defense no doubt, got skills for sure but what i meant was he doesn't fight in a negative way, he will come to fight Maidana and not run all night. Maidana would land for sure but Collazo is tough so it would be a hard fight.

Collazo fought a mental midget last night, maidana is the opposite but i doubt this fight will happen anyway as Chino wants big paydays now.
